Something Crazy!
I am signing up - today - to take part in the National Novel Writing Month project. It begins November 1st and runs thirty days. If you commit. then you must write an entire 50,000 word novel in those thirty days. You can't start writing until November 1st, and you must lay down your keyboard on November 30th.
Thanks to Catnmus who suggested this to me and who completed the task herself last year! She's participating again this year, and she tells me it's tons of fun, a bit insane, and well worth while.
I am not sure what sort of novel I am going to write. I am leaning toward a mystery story involving - what else - an Avon Lady. But in the next thirty-one days before this begins, I may change my mind.
Here's what's in it for you: Being the crazy devil-may-care person that I am, I am going to post all of my daily novel writing here. You can follow my novel writing progress, and I'm going to warn you, it may be ALL I manage to write in November. But I am going to do this, I am determined. Why the heck not?
