I'm nervous and excited and the house is no where near ready for the barrage of people arriving in just a day. I want everyone to get along. I want everyone to be happy and healthy. I want the weather to be sunny and warm. And all of that, well excepting the weather 'cause this IS So Cal, is outside my control. Breathe, Birdie, breathe. I'm not a religious person but I believe in some force behind the shimmer motion of the macadamia nut trees in my yard, some invisible presence sifting through the actions of my children, some kind of magic that gets me from A to B, and whoever, whatever, whenever you are, please help me through this week. And please help that electric bass guitar I bought my son, 9, on eBay arrive in time for Christmas! Please!
Oh! And I have one prayer of thanks! And this is gonna sound flip, and I guess if I'm honest I kind of mean it to be silly, but I'm genuinely glad, too. I have plenty of leftover Avon junk to give my sisters and their daughters. No worries there.
So, both winners will receive a glorious Avon package of goodies and samples! And I have to incorporate both suggestions, so I shall eBay the Avon cracker server filled with maxi-pads!!! Now, I've never eBayed anything, so I need to figure out the details. Once I am listed, I'll post the link and you can bid it up to incredible heights! (Or at least the ten bucks some other Avon Lady is asking for hers on eBay.)
