7, almost 8
I've been nursing a sick kid all day, since last night. I took 7 - who turns 8 on Tuesday - to the doctor this morning. Sinus infection, he said. Antibiotics. But his fever isn't coming down, it was at nearly 104 a few minutes ago, so I am keeping him close, keeping a close eye, watching and waiting and giving him all my energy and cool sponge baths. Kids! They steal your heart and pieces of your face, leave you scared most of the time, would be all of the time except we need sleep.
This came on fast! Please leave, bad virus or bacteria, whatever you are! Leave!
