What does a person do with Avon Mark Self Sanctuary Fig Basil Body Sorbet?
Well, I started to get out my crystal dessert goblets, when I noticed that on the back it says "Use It Like This: Smooth On. Feel New." Why can't they just say "lotion"? I realize it sounds more appealing as Body Sorbet, but that's a pretty comical name.
Gingerly I opened the package, fearing for the usual allergic reaction I get when I smell perfume. A really lovely scent wafted out, but I didn't feel sick. So far, so good! I tried Smoothing it On, so that I could Feel New. Still no allergic reaction! I wouldn't want something that strongly perfumey on me for long, though, so I tried it as a shaving cream for my legs. That was perfect. It makes a wonderfully smooth and fragrant shaving cream. I'll actually consider buying it for use as a shaving cream. The amount of fragrance left afterward was just right for my tastes.
What does a person do with Avon Mark Self Sanctuary Fig Basil Shower Wash?
Well, I got out my bucket and scrub brush and headed for the shower walls, when something in me suggested I try it another way. Why can't they just say "liquid soap"? There I go again, raging against the Marketing Machine.
This stuff smells heavenly. Why it doesn't create an allergic reaction is a mystery to me. They must be doing something right. It's kind of fun to use, all shiny and fragrant and smooth. I noticed that, with my allergy, if I don't rinse it off well, I itch a little. For a normal person, there should be no trouble at all. I really like these two products!
Fig Basil, though? Not according to my nose. I suspect the Avon Marketing Team spun the Wheel o' Words on their Random Noun Generator to come up with that name.
