Astrology Hot Zones for September 2004 - New Moon conjunct Mars and Jupiter
by Robert Wilkinson
The New Moon this month falls on September 14 at 23 Virgo, accenting the themes of experimentation and education for the 4 weeks following the event. This is a time where we need to face the aroused energies of our nature, and test our moral strength. A degree of valor, we need faith in ourselves and the willingness to train in order to find a simple self-control over our vital and emotional energies. Resoluteness and patience are the virtues to cultivate.
The New Moon conjunct Mars and Jupiter shows highly dynamic tendencies at work, and the sextile to Saturn assists us to acheive the patience, organization, maturity, and willingness to take on appropriate responsibilities. Of course, this re-accents the Yod, or "Finger of God," that was in major emphasis in July and August. Try to remember to slow down and take it easy in mid-to-late September, and allow the recent breakdowns and separations to fade into the rearview mirror of your life. Something much bigger is coming for all of us, depending on where this lunation falls in the birth chart.
