2004 for Aries

Well, you've certainly been on a roller coaster (or several!) for the past two years, learning things about yourself and your world that forced you to make decisions you're still not sure about. Still, you got a fairly powerful vision of your most natural self expression last year, and started to do some practical detail work the last half of 2003 which will yield tremendous movement in your life beginning May 2004. This year, continue to develop your intuition, and don't let heavy feelings drain your vitality.

So work, work, and work some more during the first 2/3 of this year, since movement feeds your Soul, which in turn loves movement for its own sake. Just make sure you don't overlook the details that ensure the success of your enterprises. September 2004 will begin to bring forth new ways of relating to others, new interactions, and a more ideal vision of what your future could look like. This period will help you to balance things out, and help you to see what motivates you from different perspectives. Though this may create a sense of ambivalence, it can also help you get outside of your instinctive (and often impulsive!) way of viewing things.

You're now in the heart of the decision-making process based on what you learned from the Spring of 2001 through June 2003 about perception, communication, and interpretation, and now you know who your brothers and sisters are, and aren't. Follow your grounding instincts to take care of some need. Family considerations will continue to dominate 2004, along with gathering what you need to anchor the new life direction and/or new profession that began to move in the Summer of 2003.

For all Aries, your ruler Mars starts a new two year cycle of light and power for you in January, so embrace what's up enthusiastically. Just don't let haste or abrasiveness create problems. February should look pretty good to you, while late March through April may bring multiple conflicts or demands on your energies that require you to be a good juggler and find the right balance in your perspectives. The results of your new decisions since Summer 2003 will accelerate in dramatic style from May through mid-August, after which you're caught in a pattern over which you have little control, except to do whatever you have to.

For March Aries people, the focus is primarily on work and health, so cut back on excessive indulgences and self-destructive behavior. Your vitality continues to be blunted by Saturn in early Cancer, so adjust to the slowed pace and accept your new duties and responsibilities with more grace and less touchiness. You're probably just tired, so RELAX (and keep working!) November-December 2004 will bring some things to the surface in dramatic style, along with major new opportunities. There may still be situations where others are acting irrationally or compulsively, so be practical in assessing what can and cannot be done with or for them. Your ruler Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in January, mid-March, May, mid-August, and late September through October.

Early April Aries are also focused on work and health in early 2004. The period between March and July is one last look back at how you are connected to life and its enjoyable pleasures. Children, creativity, and forms of natural self-expression dominate this part of your year, after which it's back to work. Mid-April Aries also are in full creative mode until August, after which the focus is on health considerations and work adjustments.

For all April Aries, Saturn will continue to be either a big drag on your line or a solid platform from which you will launch 17-21 years of upward movement and professional growth and development. Adjust to the slower pace, make time your ally, do your discipline, and know that this feeling too will pass by 2006. Your ruler Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in January-early February, late March-early April, late May through June, and September through late November.
