2004 for Capricorn

You're learning some very important lessons about what you can and cannot control in your relationships. You're having to demonstrate autonomy, detachment, care, concern, and a tender nurturing side, or you're finding yourself being opposed by people resulting in hurt feelings. Let go of fear, touchiness, manipulation, and insecurity.

Even though your mate may be more crabby than usual, don't let things harden unnecessarily. You're really more protected than you may suspect, and need to continue to explore the sense of warmth, connectedness, and security that began Summer 2003 after 2 years of dualistic uncertainty, paradox, and corrosive interactions.

Your ruler Saturn started to bring you new types of relationships, responsibilities, duties, limitations, and ways of viewing wealth June 2003. These were hard reality lessons, the result of how you've defined yourself these past 15 years. You're now in the middle of a 2 year phase where you have to rethink some of your beliefs about yourself and others that began between 1988-1990. Since then you've had to learn to be more responsible or mature without hardness, rationalizing, or avoiding confronting your part in creating your life circumstances, even though they may have seemed out of your control.

Continue to purify your motives, turning them to a larger vision. Being innovative will help you ride the revolutionary changes in your money, resources, and values, as will your compassion and a vaster perspective on generic human issues. You've actually been in a very productive mode since August 2003, and should see the results of your efforts come home to roost by September 2004. Just try to use discrimination regarding which motives are more and less useful, and which ideas actually serve the growth of specific processes and opportunities.

December Capricorns have been most affected so far by the ongoing relational challenges. Change your rules, assumptions, and limitations around how you related to others, and what you think their obligations are. Through 2005 you'll have to incorporate others' limitations into your assumptions with a greater sensitivity to their feelings, or you'll lose perfectly good human connections for no good reason. These lessons will begin for January Capricorns in May 2004.

December Capricorns have a tremendous professional momentum that begins October 2004, if you can find ways to serve your world while keeping the momentum in your own hands. Cultivate your dramatic self-expression and beware of exaggeration or waste. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in early January, late March-early April, May, late June-early July, late September-early October, and mid December. Finish up whatever you need to in December 2004-January 2005, and turn to the new 2 year cycle of opportunity that begins February 2005. Just slow down and don't allow impulsive or hasty speech or actions to create needless accidents!

For January Capricorns, you've had new truths opened, new visions to pursue, a new way to fulfill your desires, or a new practical service to be done. May 2004 begins a tremendous movement toward your future, where you will quest to find a larger point of view, a new understanding, a new way or thing to learn or teach, and a work that affords you more freedom. If possible, go back to school, learn a new skill or a new way to apply an old one. This prepares you to power up your public sector beginning November 2004.

Your health and work issues of July 2001-September 2003 prepared you for your new way of relating to your world. Through September 2004, continue to avoid hassles around shared finances or resources if possible, which will require a lot of attention to details, patience, and sensitivity if you're to sidestep troubles. Especially in July-August, make sure everything is exactly as represented, and keep everything open and above board, avoiding secret or dubious agreements.

Your present 2 year cycle began late March or April 2003, when you had to slow down, take it easy, and not allow the fast pace to create needless problems at that time. Things begun then should show movement in January 2004, surface between late May and late June, and culminate October-November. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in January, June, late July-early August, and mid-October through mid November.
