Astrology for All in July, August, September 2004 - A chapter closes with a new movie opening

By now we all have gone through major changes indicated by the Yod, or Finger of God configurations, that have characterized the year so far. It's been a time of sacrifice, expansion, and intensified focus. Since August 2003, Jupiter in Virgo has offered us all the chance to work or do some practical tasking to achieve a momentum toward a vision. We've been learning or demonstrating the art of cooperation, and learning to release certain competitive urges. Our accomplishments have shown us our new place and life in society, and all have been encouraged in some way as part of a larger group effort.

During the rest of the Summer 2004, the Sun and Mars, followed by Mercury and Venus, are all closing in on a conjunction with Jupiter. This is a time to harvest, capture, enjoy, and look to the future just down the road a few weeks. Our collective rendezvous with destiny will become very acutely focused between late August and early October due to the Sun conjunct Mars. This period will be challenging to those with planets in Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius, so avoid sharpness, bluntness, impatience, hasty actions and judgments, or unnecessary criticisms. It all comes to a head with the Sun conjunct Jupiter in the last degree of Virgo on September 21-22, immediately followed by the Mars conjunct Jupiter at the first degree of Libra on September 26-27 and Mercury conjunct Jupiter at 1 Libra on September 28-29. This will be one of the most intense periods of the year, with some people finalizing certain things while others leap into a new life and purpose on the edge of a great wave of a new ideal. It is truly a time when a major chapter of your learning experience fulfills itself, and the "movie" of your life opens a new picture. This is a critical degree axis, and those born in early Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn will be shifting gears into new possibilities. Just don't get aggravated or lose your sense of proportion.

Wherever these points of 30 Virgo and 1 Libra fall in your charts, expect important developments to start that will impact your life for a long time to come. This begins a 2 1/2 year cycle of expansion, opportunity, adventure, or education in the areas of your life these influence. It's a whole new rhythm to everyone's life and affairs. The outcome of your year-long preparation for this wave of expansion is to find joy in doing some task which widens your life or sense of purpose, and escaping from an old lesser life path by being willing to rise to the occasion and follow a more ideal self-image.

Concentrate, listen to the inner voice, and deal with the agitation the best you're able by maintaining your inner equilibrium and a reasonable perspective. Follow whatever awakens in late September and early October, since the next two years plus will see numerous symbolic "deaths" and transfigurations that show you a greater spiritual reality or wisdom. Everyone's "inner light" will be awakened during the next two years, and many will abruptly find themselves living a whole new picture of an ideal. This pulse will, however, necessitate a "return to source" in early November 2004 while finding ways to adjust the magnetism to the new perspective or role. Be far-sighted, judicious, and discerning, and you'll capture a preliminary form of the perfected ideal.
