Astrology Hot Zones for September-October 2004 - Judgment Day
by Robert Wilkinson
Neptune and Pluto, the outmost invisible "spiritual" planets, continue to be in the irrational, compulsive, "fork in the road" septile aspect. The last time we dealt with this was the '30's, when Fascism reared its ugly head all over Europe. We've been dealing with this since the mid-term elections of 1994, which marked the rise of the present Neocon uber-nasty political movement along with the linking up of various terrorists and their organizations.
We've all been dealing with irrational or compulsive people since the mid-'90s, and the Jupiter going stationary direct in early Virgo earlier in the year only primed the pump for more of this sort of extremism. It's hard to be rational when confronted with irrational people. That's why it's important to stay focused rather than scattered in extreme (and improbable) imaginings - Pluto in Sagittarius - and keep your eye on the ideal - Neptune in Aquarius - rather than get hardened in vague feelings or peculiar power struggles with friends or associates. The Jupiter station also marked a time when we had to choose which direction we were going, and now we've seen what's over and what's in front of us.
We are all finding the indestructible parts of our being and life, and by working with foresight and optimism, we can ease the way for ourselves down the road. Try to find a place of peace from which to measure your life as a totality, and trust your higher instincts while getting as clear as possible about how to detach from the sources of suffering, whether your own vague imaginings or someone else's mischief. And it is a time of judgment, due to the recent Sun-Mars square Pluto. This freed us of inhibitions, gave us great and deep insights, and showed the way to self-confidence through self-discipline and diminished impulsiveness or agitation.
