Astrology Hot Zones for October 2004 - Patterns of Feeling, Deciding, and Thinking

by Robert Wilkinson

This month the pattern that has dominated the past two months is over, so we get to stop procrastinating, and do what we must! We're now again in the sequence of this past June and July, which as I recall was hectic for some, exciting for all. The past 9 weeks we've been leading with our feelings, which while strong, only led us to a lot of thinking and talking but not much action. The mind has chased the feelings all over the place, looking for reasons to explain why we feel as strangely as we have. Decisions were a big agony, and procrastination was much easier than doing what was needed.

Big feelings were in the air, and still continue to be in our face. Be pleasant, gracious, and balanced, as well as fair in your assessments. However, we now move from wanting to talk and talk and talk to postpone deciding into deciding to postpone thinking. Look out! While acting on your feelings may make you feel strong, make sure you're not chasing a vision that does not exist, or are working off of ideas that needed to be left behind some time ago. The past 2 months the trick was not to hesitate too long or get lost in too many possibilities. That's why not many undecided voters made up their minds. However, Mercury's conjunction with the Sun October 5th now shifts the pattern where deciding will become easier.

We will still lead with our hunches or feelings, but make decisions based on that, rather than ideas or vision. The blind spot in this pattern is the tendency to work off of obsolete info or another's illusion. We all need to update update our data banks, information systems, and knowledge or comprehension of the larger picture. So feel, then act, then go get new information. Then follow your hunch, come to the simple fact, then go get more information or talk it out with others.
