Astrology at Work and Play in 2005 - George Bush's Horoscope
by Robert Wilkinson
Since he is the Prez, I thought it would be good to re-examine George Bush's astrological chart to get a better understanding of the man, his ideals, and his inner nature. I originally published these articles between July and October 2004, and they contain a lot of information about Dubya that some readers may not have seen the first time. That is why I present them here again, to provide a groundwork for articles I'll be publishing in the future about this man who has the power of life and death over so many of us.
In Part 1, I discussed some of his more prominent natal (birth) characteristics, and some of how his Cancer and Libra planets work together and separately. In Part 2, I discussed some of his progressions, and what he has been and is going through as a result of their positions and aspects. In Part 3, I discussed some relevant transits he has been going through, including the dreaded Saturn return and the Yod configurations at work in his chart. More on the Yods affecting us all at this link.
Since these were written throughout the Summer and Autumn of 2004, some of the information regarding the progressions and transits is no longer immediately relevant, while some is more important now than then. During the coming weeks and months, I'll try to offer insights into George Bush's birth chart from time to time to give everyone a greater insight into this man who has assumed one-seventh of the Karma of the United States, no small thing.
And he was first appointed as President in an election year ending with zero, a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in an Earth sign, and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. The history of Presidents since 1840 who took office under these aspects has been very difficult. I believe Dubya's second term will not prove a happy one, given he's already touched "the third rail" of politics in the US, i.e., Social Security.
Despite it being his Jupiter return, I suspect he'll be crashing upon the reefs of willfulness and stubborn emotional fixations as he suffers his second Saturn return through the first half of 2005 followed by Saturn conjunct his Ascendant-Mercury-Pluto in Leo beginning July 2005. Late February through the first half of March 2005 is a volatile time for him, as is early April and the middle of June. The last part of 2005 is very difficult for him, due to equally stubborn and determined forces blocking him. I'll cover more of this in future articles. For now, enjoy the articles linked above, and we'll pick this thread up shortly.
