2005 for Aries

You're in the final process of finishing up your relationship to your past and old childhood and family patterns, and will be shifting gears in a big way beginning this Summer. Re-work your habits to make your life more efficient in the first half of 2005, sacrificing whatever you need to in order to concentrate your energies, preparing for the next big push this July.

Keep letting go of all negative memories, and take responsibility gracefully as you move into greater visibility in your world and expanded relationships with others. Refine your truth, philosophy, and motives, and maintain equilibrium as you continue to say goodbye to everything that needlessly burdened you.

You're still trying to find the right rhythm to the quickened work pace that began September 2004. At that time you also began to sense new ways of relating to and interacting with others, as well as seeing a future that looked better than the past. You're finding a new balance in your life, and seeing what motivates you from different perspectives. Though this may continue to create a sense of ambivalence, it can also help you get outside of your instinctive (and often impulsive!) way of viewing things.

You're now consolidating and integrating the decisions you made in 2003 that were the logical evolution of what you learned between the Spring of 2001-2003 about perception, communication, and interpretation, who your brothers and sisters were and weren't. Since then you've been figuring out how to take care of yourself and your needs. Family considerations dominated 2004, along with gathering what you needed to anchor the new life direction and/or new profession that began to move in the Summer of 2003.

For all Aries, your ruler Mars started a cycle of light and power for you January 2004 which will complete itself June 2005, when Mars again enters Aries and sets a new cycle into motion through May-June 2007. Whatever begins or renews in June or July 2005, embrace it enthusiastically. As with any time Mars conjuncts your Sun, don’t let haste or abrasiveness create problems.

January 2005 opens new possibilities of play, creativity, or self-expression. February and March may find you in power struggles or moving into more responsibility or high visibility. You have or are the answer to any conflict that pops up in your environment. Be direct but diplomatic. Mars in Capricorn should be good for you, even if you may chafe at the limitations inherent in what you have to do or demonstrate. You're learning how to organize your energies effectively.

Late March through April will bring many things to fulfillment, and you should harvest the fruits of your labors in 2004 while expanding your friendships or effectiveness in some group situation. There may be conflicts with friends, or you may have to place your energies at the disposal of a friend. Either way, be a good juggler and loving, playful friend. May through the first half of June, close things out and prepare for the new cycle to come. You may be more ambivalent or reclusive than usual; meditate, forgive, let go, and bless others, even if their motive is a hassle. Impulsiveness or bluntness will create sorrow, so when in doubt, hang back a little and play your cards close to the vest.

Late June through July your ruler Mars is in your sign, giving lots of energy but also the danger that impulsiveness will create conflict or accidents. Rein it in a little, be as focused as possible, slow down, and do something new. Look both ways before pulling into intersections, think before you speak, and don't be so quick to argue or assert your opinion. You can get a tremendous amount accomplished if you're focused, efficient, and work in short bursts.

From August through the end of the year, Mars is in Taurus, going retrograde in early October through the second week of December. You may be able to earn money quickly, but it may also go out just as fast. Still, don't be hassled about money or what you have or value; you're seeing where you get caught in instinctive power struggles, and can learn a lot about your own and others' subconsciousness. Just observe the push and pull from an objective angle. Don't get hassled by the slow pace, or how bogged down things feel, or having to adjust to a different value system. Your sense of forward motion will renew itself in late December.

March Aries people are getting unique interactive gifts, experiences, and new relationships. You'll feel a new understanding and stability when Saturn goes into Leo this July. The slow pace you've been forced to endure for quite a while is over, and you now know how to make time your ally rather than chafe at the restricted pace. Even though things will continue to seem weird, don't let the lack of clarity tempt you into inconsiderate actions. Your ruler Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, during February 6-21, June 12-28, and August 26-November 8.

For Aries born the first two weeks of April, January through April offers a vision of new ways of relating to others and the new opportunities now experienced by March Aries. From May through July the emphasis is on work and health, so cut back on excessive indulgences and behaviors that create imbalance or sorrow. Your life continues to be at a critical fork in the road due to Saturn in late Cancer, especially for those born from April 9-17 of any year. Aries born the third week of April are still experiencing a blunted vitality, so adjust to the slowed pace and accept your new duties and responsibilities with more grace and less touchiness. You’re probably just tired, so RELAX (and keep working!)

Cultivate efficiency, see the seeds of activities that will bring major payoffs in the future, and if you find yourself this Summer in situations where others are acting irrationally or compulsively, be practical in assessing what can and cannot be done with or for them. Your ruler Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, from February 20-March 20 and the whole month of July.

For all April Aries, like the last half of 2004, through July 2005 Saturn will continue to be either a big drag on your line or a solid platform from which you will launch 17-21 years of upward movement and professional growth and development. Adjust to the slower pace, make time your ally, do your discipline, and know what your true greater responsibilities are, letting go of lesser things. Things will definitely shift by August 2005, and by 2006 your life will be functioning very smoothly.
