2005 for Cancer

The first half of this year continues the theme of 2003-2004, finishing a destiny cycle while opening a new 29 year cycle of power, authority, and partnership. As things ended the past two years, you crystalized new opportunities, ways of relating, regenerations, or access to shared wealth or values. You've matured in your way of relating to society's values and learned to make time your ally through patience and perseverence.

Like last year, things will continue to close out this year for all July Cancers, so reduce your load, conserve your energy, be responsible, and author your own destiny by consciously accepting new duties, disciplines, or power with grace, idealism, and poise. Self-discovery still predominates for June Cancers through July 2005, after which this group will begin to go through changes in their finances, non-material resources, and value structures, beginning to learn how to use things differently.

All Cancers remain in radical transformation, with "expansions through sacrifices" paramount in various areas of life simultaneously. You've been under "Yod" configurations, or the "Finger of God," for quite some time in multiple areas. In 2004 it involved Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Cancer, and Pluto in Sagittarius. While productive, it forced you to make major adjustments in the areas of your life involving Aries, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. This is obviously a lot of reality. Saturn in your sign has certainly been a task-master!

The invisible hand of the Yod continues to squeeze you into a narrower focus while keeping things extreme, nebulous, and transforming due to the on-going Pluto in Sagittarius forming a quincunx to all Cancers born around mid-July, triggered every time the Moon goes through Aquarius or Taurus, which is twice a month. You're continuing to make big adjustments in your profession, public standing, self expression, relationships, shared resources, and children. You're learning how to be productive as you keep it simple, and detached and friendly as you move into a bigger picture each time you shed unnecessary accumulations, whether physical, emotional, or mental.

July Cancers have been feeling the weight of the world, as well as harvesting the results of patience and hard work. You're having to show enormous maturity in all your relations, and try to welcome those who are your equals or of greater wisdom without being heavy-handed or manipulative. Some insecurity is natural during the lessons you've had to go through. Stay organized, disciplined, and pragmatic in responding to opportunity. Find ways to take care of yourself by letting go of nervous neediness, and end habits that have created problems in your life.

Continue to conserve your energy, and say goodbye to old things that have weighted you down. Continue to decrease defensiveness regarding your perceived authority and ability to control outcomes or processes, or lack of this. There are obligations to be met, so stop being crabby and do them! You'll find that generating merit for its own sake often leads to unexpected discoveries and assistance.

The vision, adventure, or larger understanding between July 2001-2002 offered you a greater life. June 2003 began a decision-making process, and if you took the long view, all is well. 2003-04 made the structure of your new life much more stable, so follow through on obligations, use resources efficiently, and open to the new ways to ground your energy, a new Home (inner or outer), and a new way to relate to your family, your needs, and the new beginnings that have already begun to show their beautiful face.

A 2 year cycle of vision, promise, and activity began May-June 2004, activating a new life, new values, and new things to do. All of us were given a new wisdom as a result of Saturn's station on Sirius in October 2003. All Cancers felt its presence in a very deep way. That wisdom became more a constant presence in all our lives in the Summer of 2004.

Continue to adjust your way of viewing truth, possible futures, and work opportunities, and remember that a thousand small steps will get you farther than a dozen big ones. All Cancers will change their relationship priorities and the types of people they want to hang out with beginning August 2005. Many will become more playful, creative, and spontaneous, a welcome change after the past three years!

June Cancers are getting a whole new way to life their life, as well as some very strange and irrational experiences. Be moderate and calm in the face of others' obsessive or compulsive behaviors. You're at a fork in the road, and have until September before you hit the point of no return, regardless of what choices you make.

July Cancers are still dealing with finding a balanced perception or interpretation to new developments in their environment and relationships. Find your place of greatest service to your world, learn how to keep the initiative in your own hands, and find some way to dramatize yourself or your work, demonstrating to others you're the one who has what it takes. Avoid waste and excess and you'll do fine.

The first 10 months of 2005 offer the beginning of a whole new grace and charm in how your live your life, so it should help you to throw off any grumpiness left over from the hard lessons and endings and beginnings of the past two and a half years. You'll start seeing an easier way to express yourself in November if you can be spontaneous and playful. Even though you're still sacrificing old visions of the future and old truths, you're learning a larger vision, a greater freedom to act, and more poise. Fluidity will be easy for you in November-December 2005 and well into the next year.

For June Cancers, 2005 favors inventiveness, unique ideas, and one-of-a-kind insights. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, from February 6-21, June 12-30, early September, late October, and January 2006. Make mid-course adjustments without haste, impulsiveness, argumentativeness, quarrels, or accidents in February, and avoid oppositional people. Bring things to fulfillment in June. Late in the year is a time to harvest, and you should be able to turn every knock into a boost, as the saying goes.

For July Cancers, your two year cycle began between late May and late June 2004, with important shifts October 2004. In 2005, you're finding new ways to act effectively professionally and publicly, and seeing what has to be brought to an end during the first six months of 2005. You have new responsibilities, and any sense of discouragement is due to diminished vitality. This will shift as of August 2004, when you'll start a whole new interactive life. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, from February 21-March 21 and June 28-July 28.
