2005 for Taurus

The disruptions, changes, and awakenings of 1996-2003 that revolutionized your life is now yielding deep insights and move fluid ways of relating to your work and profession. You may not be very sure of where you're going or how you're being perceived by others, but trust the flow and you'll find you're being led to a deeper satisfaction and compassion. Whenever you confront confusing or vague situations during these years, strive for courage, creativity, and playfulness, and figure out what you should and should not be attracting or desiring.

Neptune in Aquarius is forcing you to deal with any lack of self-confidence or confusion about the role you want to play in your world, and probably will be for several more years, especially for Taurus people born the second or third week of May. Overcome uncertainty by eliminating all that is bogged down inside and outside you, and remember to be sweet as your eccentric side continues to show itself.

In 2004, your productivity and new vision of using power effectively to achieve a more pleasurable life brought you to a different attitude toward your self-expression, children, and how you move through situations with others. Make needed adjustments in style and perspective this year, since you've got major developments breaking the surface beginning November 2005 that will impact your life for several years to come.

The contradictions in 2002 forced the endings of 2003. All Tauruses re-defined values or how resources were used from 2002 through the Summer of 2003. Though mid-May Tauruses are still dealing with values issues, for the first half of 2005 most Tauruses are finishing up lessons around perception, communication, and interpretation, and are learning who your brothers and sisters are, and aren't.

Saturn in Cancer since June 2003 helped April and early May Tauruses to move productively into a more caring higher truth, leading to the gifts, unique qualities, and special developments happening between Summer 2004-05. January through May 2005 will be weirder for those born around the middle of May, also very productive but with forks in the road and some major decisions to confront. These will have become gifts and unique qualities by the end of this year.

People born in mid-May are also dealing with a Yod configuration involving Saturn sextile the Sun, with both quincunx Pluto. This "Finger of God" forces multiple sacrifices to achieve spiritual focus, expansion, and release. Let go of all that is obsolete, irrelevant, or left over from other times in your life never to return. Get rid of all excess accumulations, and see how you need to regenerate over the long haul through enlarging your point of view and your aspiration for higher things.

The second half of 2005 will be most stressful for Tauruses born in late April, since Saturn begins to square their Sun. This brings important new developments around home and family, and tests this fixed sign's ability to let go of fear, stubbornness, and negative views of their past. See your childhood experiences as teaching you to see the bigger picture from a detached point of view. This July is a point of emergence and decision, and from August through early 2006, other configurations involving several Grand Fixed Crosses will be very challenging to all with planets in early Taurus.

As you recall, 1999-2000 featured major realignments in your life, when many things came together. It was a time of endings and beginnings, when the long-term results of your efforts came home to roost, for good and/or for ill. It culminated in the very crowded house your life had become by Spring 2000, and whatever was squeezed out made room for the grand 29-year adventure that began then. You now have new feelings and perceptions resulting from your gentle perseverance.

For Taurus, Mars started a cycle of activity for you between February 3 and March 20 2004 which will complete itself between December 2005 and February 2006, when Mars again moves forward in Taurus after its retrograde in that sign between October 1 and December 9, 2005. Whatever begins or renews in between July 28 and the end of the year, embrace it enthusiastically. As with any time Mars conjuncts your Sun, just slow down and don't allow impulsive, abrasive, or hasty speech and actions to create needless accidents!

For April Taurus people, you'll find yourself dealing with many theoretical considerations for the first 2/3 of the year, with maximum irritability from March 20-April 3, May 22-June 6, late July through mid-August, and late November-early December, when Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled.

With Jupiter’s entry into Scorpio in late October, you will be challenged to find a new, more powerful form of service to your world. Try to keep the momentum going in your own favor, and dare to be a little more dramatic in how you interact with your world. Avoid excess in all realms, but allow the opportunities surfacing to open a whole new world to you. Travel more beginning November, and doors will open in some magical ways.

February and early March should be very productive for April Tauruses. This gives way to the last echo of cosmic irritability created by Pluto, lasting from mid-June through mid-November, after which this group will use power more and more effectively for years to come, with the major shift beginning 2009.

For Tauruses born in May, you'll be very productive in March and May, with gifts and unique insights and experiences showing you clearly what you don't need any more. You'll be doing quite well by June, so use the time productively, since you'll be confronting challenges in November-December based in what shows up on your radar screen in September-October.

This Autumn you'll have endurance, but the times will challenge you, to be friendly, detached, see the big picture, and not get frustrated by the pace, bogged down in stubborn oppositions, or allow your affairs to get too fractured.

Early May Taurus people are in a very productive originality phase of growth. Mid-May Taurus people have unsuspected gifts of originality that will reveal some very interesting subconscious patterns, and are beginning 7 years of revolutionizing their ambitions and friendships.

Mid-May Tauruses will also experience subtle but revolutionary spiritual realizations, or revelations that have to be put on the shelf for a year or two, so to speak. For May Tauruses, Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in April, late June, late July, and September through February 2006.
