2005 for Sagittarius

Continuing the theme of the last several years, things will be somewhat weird and extreme thanks to Pluto's transit through your sign, especially for those born between December 12-19 of any year. All Sagittarians have definitely been transformed, purified, and eliminated many things to make their lives work better during the past 7 years, and have a) crashed and burned spectacularly, b) eliminated everything not necessary to your survival, c) started doing some very self-destructive stuff, d) become more playful or artistic while shutting down a whole bunch of your prior life, or e) all of the above.

At this time, November Sagittarians are being pulled in several directions at once, some of them are fairly peculiar or vague. Uranus is creating upheaval in your lives, renovating and recombining things to make it all work better. Stop making excuses, and get your genius or uniqueness in gear. Find your inner values which life will reward, rise to some emergency you're sensitive to, develop your social intuition, and be wholehearted in pursuing the goals that truly appeal to you. Continue to be a good juggler and communicator to avoid the unexpected disruptions that will be your companion this year. December Sagittarians will learn how to do this beginning Spring 2006.

Saturn brought you lots of changes, endings and beginnings, in relationships, communications, environments, and ways of viewing wealth and resources from 2001 through mid-2003. These were hard reality lessons, the results of how you defined yourself since the late '80's. Since then you've learned more responsibility and maturity without hardness or avoiding confronting your part in creating your life circumstances. You've not only learned these things in relationships, but also that you have had to renounce certain attitudes regarding money and shared values.

November Sagittarians have been learning to possess as though they possess nothing since June 2003. Change your thinking and interpretation about what you want and how you believe you should go get it. You're learning to incorporate others' feelings into your worldview. After August you'll have to incorporate others' information into your worldview with a greater sensitivity to their hearts and ways of expressing themselves, and many of your relationships should stabilize and become more harmonious than they've been in a while. These lessons will begin for December Sagittarians in 2006.

From September 2003 through September 2004 Sagittarius' ruler Jupiter was in Virgo, creating more work and worry. You learned practicality, organization, and became less of the gypsy. You were at an educational and philosophical turning point, and learned a different form of honesty than you were used to. You learned to work, adjust, take care of business, and prioritize! Since then, Jupiter in Libra is refining all Sagittarians, putting the focus on justice, fairness, beauty, and reconstructing the ideal. You are finding new ways of relating to others, new perspectives, and a whole new way of judging and evaluating people and situations. You're definitely more stylish, refined, and can learn social graces that you never much cared about before now.

For November Sagittarians, over the last few years, Neptune gave you opportunities to develop your intuition, and through 2006-2008, you can sharpen these gifts. You'll need to, as Uranus will keep your life in upheaval through 2006. This year and next, your foundations will be shaken and you may have to move or revolutionize your living conditions due to unexpected circumstances. See the many points of view and the many details to be taken care of.

The skills and insights you developed beginning June 2003 showed you how to deal with what's happening this year. Through most of late 2003 and early 2004, you found ways to serve your world while keeping the momentum in your own hands. At this time, Jupiter is showing you gifts and unique qualities as well as productive friendships and group work through most of 2005. This is a great year for glimpsing a more ideal ambition and finding more refined acquaintences.

For November Sagittarians, Mars created hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in early January, when you started a whole new 2 year cycle of activity. Slow down and refused to be hassled or impulsive in early March, when you need to accept certain responsibilities or limitations. April will be as productive as early May is a geargrind. Stick with the plan, pay attention to details, stop worrying about vague things, and be a good juggler. June-July will be productive, but despite the feeling like things are finally coming together for the long haul after Saturn enters Leo in July, you'll have to make some hard adjustments in early August that will have important implications in November and December.

This is due to the Mars effect forcing multiple sacrifices so that you can achieve greater power through excluding all you cannot take with you into the future. Focus is on health and work from mid-August through January 2006. Adjust whatever, sacrifice whatever, change whatever you need to. This affects December Sagittarians from mid-August through mid-November, and forces growth in sectors involving nurturance, caring, connectedness, home and family, friends, goals, ambitions, ideals, perceptions, communications, environment, and adjustment to circumstances with sensitivity and detachment.

For December Sagittarians, you've had new professional or visibility issues opened, despite Neptune's contribution to your uncertainty. You learned new ways or things to learn or teach and a more responsible attitude during the past two years, as well as new skills or new ways to apply an old one. This prepared you to power up your public sector beginning July 2004, and now you should be culminating some things and harvesting the fruits of your vision of these past 10 years.

Your new 2 year cycle began in January 2005. This was a time of needing to slow down, take it easy, and not allow the fast pace to create needless problems during those weeks. You were no doubt feeling rambunctuous and more than a little assertive. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, during the new beginnings and changes of late May and early June.
