2005 for Libra

2004 ended an old 12 year cycle of perceptions, ideas, health and work, and a new long wave cycle of magic began in October, when simultaneous 2 and 12 year cycles started. The many cycles of activity that were set into motion then will dominate 2005 and 2006. For people born in late September and early October, the grand adventure has begun, and through May try to see your recent beginnings from a different perspective, learning what you need to from others. For this group, opportunity is all around; you simply have to open the door and invite the guest in.

For mid-October Libras, the first half of 2005 your should continue to complete old ways of seeing the big picture, reap rewards, stay in the background, examine your motives and self-undoing behavior, and find ways to bless, forgive, and see the justice in all that's happened the past 11 years. From now through August, close things out, meditate, seek seclusion, and stay below the radar screen of life as you prepare to be liberated this Autumn, when like early Libras now, you will find a new adventure, a larger vision, or a greater opportunity.

Like Autumn 2004, this year you can receive blessings that other people refer to as "luck" if you open to a larger view and a different perspective. This should be a great year if you use your imagination and avoid excess and waste. All Libras are actually very intuitive at this time, even though you may be seeing as many dilemmas as solutions to the various discoveries you're understanding. September and early October Libras have extraordinarily accurate insights, but are in the middle of some hard adjustments thanks to Uranus quincunxing your Sun. You can find opportunities for growth in simplicity, playfulness, and nobility.

For all Libras, your sense of work or service is very ideal at present, well harmonized, and like last year, your creativity should continue to be subtle, universal, and the expression of a collective ideal. You're now in the middle of some very deep feelings, some peculiar, some universal, in your self-expression. If you have children, they're extremely intuitive at present, though maybe a bit confused as well. You're still in process of being led to deeper feelings of what others aspire to, even if they can't put it into specific terms.

For mid-October Libras, you're still on a quest to find a new truth, a new way to learn or teach, a new vision, and a wider point of view. If possible, go back to school, learn a new skill or a new way to apply an old one. Just don't be so hesitant or insecure about the larger vision revealing itself to you. September and early October Libras have already entered into a very high profile time of their lives, where there are responsibilities to be discharged, duties to be accepted, and authority to be claimed. This period will continue for all October Libras through the entire year into the next.

September Libras will enter a whole new chapter of life in August, with new friend, new goals and ambitions, and new group work to accomplish. You'll start having more friends in the home, or perhaps your home will become the occasional meeting house for a group. You'll begin to attract many more resources than before beginning November, and so the second half of the year should feel much more productive than the first, though there are unique gifts and qualities to be developed in the first part of this year.

For most October Libras, Saturn continues to block your vitality through early July. Let go of lesser responsibilities and accept greater ones, and if you're bored, it's definitely time for you to view what you can live with and what you can't from a more autonomous perspective. Let go of needlessly limiting yourself, as well as the authoritarians in your world. Be sensitive to your own needs, stop deferring so much, and see just how free you really are. And if they don't like the changes, it's a clear sign the changes are needed more than any of you suspected.

Pluto brings all Libras excellent opportunities to make their lives more efficient, and some will get unique insights that will change their lives forever. Neptune is very favorable all year, so learn how to flow between ideas and perspectives. For September Libras, Uranus is forcing adjustments in your ways of relating to work and/or children. Do not tolerate deception, delusions, or explosions.

When Saturn changes signs this July, there will be major shifts in your home environment, your family situation, and your way of viewing your childhood as well as the foundations of your life. A major theme for all Libras this year is repudiation of some form of bondage by challenging something that is customary, but not as ideal as you would like.

As I said last year regarding late 2004, September Libras should continue to open to opportunities that are all around. Get a larger perspective, and maintain equilibrium, not overdoing it. Show your usual moderation as you embrace your new adventure from multiple points of view. From February through May, take a look at the alliances you need before everything starts to move forward this summer.

For September Libras, Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, from February 6-20, June 12-28, the first half of August, and mid-November through late December. Your new 2 and 12 year cycles of opportunity began last October. Note the new developments in February, and correct whatever you need to in June. During these times, slow down and don't allow impulsive or hasty speech or actions to create needless accidents! In June, avoid oppositional or argumentative people, and protect your resources and values.

For October Libras, your 2 year cycle began between mid-October and mid-November. You now have a lot on your plate, ending many things and beginning even more. You are seeing how to open doors to a greater vision and future and become a teacher, protector, or the embodiment of a collective ideal. Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, between February 20 and March 20, early June, most of July, and mid-September through mid-October. Be cautious in late February and early March, go with the changes, and make your mid-course corrections in July, without haste, argumentativeness, or impulsiveness.
