2005 for Virgo

Your life is still in pretty extreme upheaval, something your orderly, practical sign does not like. However, at this time you're gathering the resources you need to support you in the adventure you began in 2004. Between September 2003-2004, you reaped the rewards of 12 years of learning about relationships and foundations, and began a new 12 year cycle of magic, vision, and learning. This magic can serve you for over a decade if you get over your skepticism that magic actually exists at all!

For August Virgos, unique developments in your relationship sector challenge you to allow your mate or partner maximum freedom even as you try to intuit how you can best serve the practical requirements in situations. You've begun 7 years of individuating in relationships, or being forced to allow others their unique ways of doing their being. Avoid clashes of will or useless power struggles.

As I told you last year, expect this long range influence to attract radically different types of partners and opportunities. There may be abrupt or erratic changes in partners, or you may be the one who changes, becoming more of a compassionate, unique, and inventive friend to others. Be careful around those who indulge in eccentric or erratic behavior or self-pity, as these will create weird feelings.

September Virgos are still learning to initiate new or innovative health disciplines, work routines, or ways of making their meditations serve a greater good in subtle or concealed ways. What was said about August Virgos in the previous two paragraphs will be the reality of September Virgos beginning 2006.

All Virgos born in August or the first half of September have had their foundations in major upheaval during the past few years. August Virgos had the hardest time in the late 1990's, whereas Virgos born mid-September are most affected at present. The last half of 2003 was particularly difficult for August Virgos, who had to rely on lessons and disciplines learned in 2001-2002 to "get them through the night." This group is now completely transformed, many hit crucial forks in the road of their lives in 2004, and as I said, are currently in revolution.

Mid-September Virgos over the past several years have had to reshape ideas, how you communicate, how you view things, and deal with peculiar environmental situations or weird events with weird neighbors. All other Virgos are going through tremendous upheaval and transformation in their roots, their home, or their family life. Things from childhood are coming to surface, as well as the cutting of old ties forever. Good fortune is found in having a sense of humor. Keep purifying your interpretation of your past, get a wider point of view, and allow traveling to open you to new routines or a new philosophy.

In 2004 all Virgos were offered opportunities to liberate the seeds of future growth, and what was cut loose then can result in a major accomplishment by 2007. You learned not to work against your best interests, get caught in dubious schemes, and pay attention to subtleties while being clear and direct in making specific demands about what you wanted.

Between June 2003 and May 2004, August Virgos began to redefine friendships, ambitions, and long range goals after a period of several years where old ambitions were fulfilled but oppositions created major splits in your life. This period will continue through July 2005. In 2004 this group learned to be more sensitive to emotional needs, including the need to express yourselves in some form of play, sport, or art. You learned to show maturity, patience, and be tender and nurturing rather than critical. After this July, you'll begin to withdraw and complete the larger cycle you began 1978-79. Meditate, see the larger cycle of your evolving maturity, and try to be creative as you begin some long term endings.

For August Virgos, the first half of 2004 consolidated the beginnings of late 2003 and by Summer had brought you to a fork in the road of your larger destiny, where crucial choices were made, even though things didn't make a lot of sense. Your future caught a favorable tide in May 2004, and by September 2004 you were riding the wave of your own momentum. January 2005 was a crisis of emergence for the 2 year cycle you began August 2004.

Mars can create hassles, or the need for some form of right action without being hassled, in early May, when you're bringing something to the surface and energy is very high. Make mid-course corrections, avoid argumentative people, slow down, take it easy, avoid useless quarrels, and try to be inventive as you stay focused on the bigger picture you're attempting to fulfill. Financial opportunities pick up after July 2005. Just avoid extravagance.

August Virgos are under the influence of a Yod, or "Finger of God," in late March, forcing multiple sacrifices in order to focus your spiritual energies. You must let go of whatever isn't fitting into the space of your new life and activities, even if the adjustment is difficult. It mainly affects your perceptual, communication, regeneration, desire, and motive sectors, and there's tremendous productivity if you just know what to give up.

For September Virgos, you're still redefining your friendships, ambitions, and long range goals. This will continue through July 2006, after which early September Virgos will begin to do the same closure phase as August Virgos are presently going through. For all September Virgos, your 2 year Mars cycle began in September 2004, with a point of critical emergence late January-early February 2005. Slow down, take it easy, and not allow the fast pace to create needless problems during that time. Be a good juggler and communicator, and be compassionate with a wide view. Bring things to a close and they'll cease to trouble you down the road.
