Astrology Hot Zones for March 2005 - Mars affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Mars is the "tripwire" for activity in our charts. During March 2005, people going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or those having the hardest time this month will be those born after the first week of January, April, July, and October. People with birthdays during these periods need to focus on what constitutes responsible action, given the high energy of this period. Those born in the second and third weeks of January, April, July, and October will be most influenced in the first half of March. Those born in the last ten days of these months will be most influenced during the last half of March.

Libras born in the second and third weeks of October are seeing the first emergence of something begun late October or early November 2004. See the new life direction or new way of naturally expressing yourself. Get grounded, and remember that "as the roots, so the flowers." Effort now is critical to future success. Be direct, act quickly with sensitivity, target the immediate need, and play a combo of offense and defense. Be yourself, and use the wisdom you found in 2004 wisely and efficiently. Quickly capture what is needed, and don't be too thin-skinned, prickly, or hasty in making judgments. Scorpios born the last 10 days of October will experience this new emergence during the last 10 days of March, and need to be gentle, simple, straightforward, noble, loving, and playful without haste or irritation.

Capricorns born the second and third weeks of January are seeing the end of a 2-year cycle and the beginning of a new one during the first half of March. Slow down, finish up what you’ve been doing these past two years, and refuse to get hassled or pushed beyond your limits. January Capricorns need to see how your goals, ambitions, friendships, foundations, and home or family life have changed since April 2003. Your old life is over, so turn to the new. Rein it in a little, and try to harnass your pragmatic vision to an organized plan of self-expression.

Aquarians born the last 10 days of January are going through the same time of endings and beginnings, and need to see how your attitudes, interpretations, environment, profession, or public standing have changed since April 2003. End what needs to end, examine your motives, and diminish impulsive or stubborn behaviors that create sorrow. Face the future, work with vision, and toward the end of March don't get too irritated or impulsive while embracing a new vision or professional direction. You can achieve maximum effectiveness this month, so find your vision and go for it! You can cut through the obstructions this month, since the power and momentum is in your sector.

Aries born the second and third weeks of April are seeing the culmination of something they began in late January or early February 2004. These people need balance, a sense of perspective, a clear ideal, diplomacy, sensitivity, and a sense of generosity. Also tenderness, clarity regarding needs, and letting go of defensiveness. For Taurus people born the last 10 days of April, this culmination takes place during the last 10 days of March. This group started their 2 year cycle in February 2004, and during March 2005 need to get clear about their vision of what the future holds, and demonstrate loyalty, creativity, nobility, and playfulness as they purify, concentrate, and regenerate.

Both signs of this group need to claim personal power and further the momentum while not being impulsive or aggravated as they accept higher recognition. This impacts self image, regeneration, and desire sectors for Aries while impacting partnerships and motives for Taurus. For both signs, this is the fulfillment and culmination of an old cycle, and both should look forward to completing whatever they need to in preparation for the new cycle that begins July 2005 for Aries, and August 2005 for Taurus.

Cancers born the second and third weeks of July need to avoid aggression, impulsiveness, or getting aggravated by oppositional people while correcting whatever they need to within the cycle that began June 2004. This is a critical mid-course correction. Bring different things to surface, or correct what you need to in the realms of profession, public standing, authority, creativity, self-expression, or children. Leos born in July also need to avoid impulsiveness or getting into adversarial interactions, and should use simplicity, gentility, concentration and purification to shift the balance in problematic areas of life regarding the future, morality, philosophy, home, family, and ways of understanding their early childhood.

Because we're dealing with Mars, it of course affects the areas of your chart influenced by Aries and Scorpio, so take note. It also affects planets you may have in these signs, as well as Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn during the first three weeks of the month. Planets and sectors affected during the end of March involve Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Don't forget to include your progressions and solar return planets. Gemini and Leo planets are influenced significantly due to the quincunx effect the first three weeks of March, always indicating a health issue on some level (not necessarily physical!) Every quincunx requires an adjustment through sacrifice, this always somewhat narrowly focused according to birthday. The quincunxes affect early Cancer and Virgo during the last 10 days of March.

Sagittarius people born in late November and Pisces born late February will be most influenced by the semisquare during the first half of March. Early December Sagittarius and early March Pisces will be influenced by the semisquare in the last half of the month. The quincunxes will most affect birthdays in the second through fourth weeks of June and August. It should still be smooth sailing for Taurus during the first three weeks of the month, so kick back and enjoy, since it becomes more challenging the last 10 days of March. Also, if Scorpios can decrease agitation, impulsive speech, and argumentative interpretations, Virgos be creative, and Aquarians do nothing self-destructive, and retreat to end what they need to, they also can have a very productive three weeks. The rest of us need to handle the energetics according to the above care plan.
