Back from the Hamptons - Shifts and changes for all signs

Well, as you know from reading the comments in the post just below this one, we're back on line. Yesterday I attended a wedding of a great astrologer and dear friend of mine, Rich Humbert. There were many astrologers and students of astrology at the event, a very good thing if we are to believe one of the Eastern traditions that one needs at least one, and if possible two, astrologers at any wedding to provide auspicious energy. If that is the case, then Rich and Nikki will certainly have one of the most blessed marriages in history. And of course, it was easily the best day of the year for many things, particularly weddings, at least around 9:30 am PDT. So congrats to all who got married or engaged yesterday, as well as those of you who launched a business, made a connection or reconnect with someone or something, started a new way of life, or pretty much did anything of note yesterday.

This post will be brief, since I have mucho catching up to do in several areas of my life, and the previous posts outlined many things happening at the present time. That said, I'll remind you that Venus shifts from Taurus to Gemini today, affecting all of us in our Taurus and Libra sectors, since Venus rules these signs. We will find new discoveries, new information, and new possibilities of expansion (Gemini) in those areas, since we've spent the last several weeks confirming either our values or our resources (Taurus) in those parts of our lives. Also remember that any planets you have in Taurus or Libra are also affected, as well as the house they rule or the planets they disposit.

For example, if you're a Cancer rising and your Moon is in Taurus or Libra, then your self-image (Ascendant) will undergo a shift in tenor, since the Moon rules Cancer. Look at it as the foreground is Cancer, and the background is the sign the Moon is in. The same is true for any planet you have in Cancer if your Moon is in Taurus or Libra. In my own chart, since I have Neptune in Libra, my Neptune affected areas of my chart are now shifting in tone from Taurus to Gemini. The entire generations born with Neptune or Pluto in Libra will shift emphasis over the next few weeks in these transpersonal-spiritual areas of our lives.

To continue, if you have a Sun in Libra, your Solar energies will change focus, since your ruler Venus is now in an Air sign (Gemini), rather than an Earth sign (Taurus). There will also be a shift from Fixity (Taurus) to Mutability (Gemini). Everyone born between 1935-early 1942 is affected, since they have Uranus in Taurus. In this case, their spiritual level Capricorn-Aquarius areas will have a different emphasis as Venus changes signs. Also those born around 1940-41, as well as those born between May 1969-June 1971 and early 1972, since they have Saturn in Taurus. This will affect their worldly affairs in the same Capricorn-Aquarius sectors.

I know some of this seems complicated, but it's how our various planets evolve their function and quality over time. Often by noting the shifts in the sign positions of the planets ruling the signs our own planets are in, we can come to anticipate the shifts in our energies, and be more conscious in co-creating our reality, rather than just drift with hope and happenstance, not a very good life plan, if you know what I mean. You can use the same principles I've outlined above to see the changes affecting your lives in Gemini and Virgo areas when Mercury changes from Aries to Taurus later this week. In those areas we will move from new initiatives to solidifying those beginnings, either by finding the resources we need to support those beginnings, or finding the values we may rely on to substantiate those initiatives.

In my own map it will affect my Midheaven, since I have Mercury exactly conjunct the Midheaven, always good for a writer and speaker! It will affect my Saturn in Virgo, as well as my 6th and 7th houses, both ruled by Saturn. It will affect the 2nd and 11th houses in my chart, since they are ruled by Virgo and Gemini respectively. Have fun applying it to the various areas in your charts, and experience your evolution in the NOW, rather than after-the-fact.
