Astrology Hot Zones for May-June 2005 - Squares, Quincunxes, Yods and Oppositions affecting all signs

Yesterday's post and the comment stream prompted today's article. I realized that in fact, EVERYONE born around the 13th through the 19th of each month is directly affected by this Saturn-Pluto quincunx. Like right now during the next three weeks! If nothing else, show self-discipline, optimism, gentleness, and friendliness. The Saturn influence shows we are finishing up lessons of consolidating the various departments of our life on the emotional-social-cultural level in May, while June will bring consolidations in the individual-mental-spiritual areas.

One piece of good news is that Pluto should bring forms of "good fortune," or at least the seeds of such, during the coming weeks. For some of you, the "bluebird of happiness" is on the way, so enjoy! Expect concrete manifestations in late October through mid-December. Of course, Pluto is still jamming the gears or creating major changes in all those born in mid-March, mid-June, mid-September, and mid-December. More at this link.

To continue what was in yesterday's comment stream, I posted that all signs are heavily affected by this quincunx, some more than others. Distilling it down to its essence, Aries gets squared from Cancer, trined from Sag. Taurus gets sextiled from Cancer, quincunxed from Sag. Gemini gets semisextile from Cancer, opposed by Sag. Cancer gets conjunction from Saturn, quincunx from Sag. Leo gets semisextile from Saturn, trine from Sag. Virgo gets sextile from Cancer, square from Sag.

Libra gets square from Cancer, sextile from Sag. Scorpio gets trine from Cancer, semisextile from Sag. Sag gets quincunx from Cancer, conjunction from Pluto (look out!). Capricorn gets opposed by Cancer, semisextile from Sag. Aquarius gets quincunx from Cancer, sextile from Sag. Pisces gets trine from Cancer, square from Sag. Each of these yields energy patterns thrown into various houses.

Briefly, Aries need balance and discipline while expressing heart and creativity. Taurus is directly influenced by a Yod, so sacrifice and build while demonstrating balance. Gemini needs to pay attention to details, work, and health with holistic awareness while following through on taking care of needs. Cancer needs concentration, discipline, simplicity, detachment, largeness of vision, being friendly and pleasant. Leo needs closure and forms of retreat for regeneration while initiating new projects. Virgos need to use friendly detachment and intuition with curiosity to see a larger group involvement.

Libra needs to take the initiative, be honest and direct, organized and mature, with simple and pleasant determination. Scorpio needs to flow, cultivate intuition, get some closure, and look at regenerating money or resources. Sagittarius needs purification, release, regeneration, friendly detachment, largeness of view, and simplicity. Capricorn needs awareness and a sense of what seeds need to be stopped from sprouting while honoring the hidden power that protects them. Aquarius is also directly influenced by a Yod, and need to examine values and how they are using their resources. Pisces is learning to concentrate, regenerate, adapt, learn new material, and take care of details.
