Astrology Now in June 2005 - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus shifts affecting all signs creating major changes

Jupiter goes stationary direct at 9 Libra on June 5, setting the platform for rapidly developing future expansions and opportunities in the Sagittarius and Pisces related areas of our charts. There will be transferrences of power to those who have integrated the parts of their personality necessary to accept "the mantle of power" indicated by the Saturn degree at this time. It opens a time when sharp, far-sighted perception, as well as judicious behavior, will be rewarded with power and authority. Embrace a more universal reality in your personal experience, and get your self-expression refined by uniting the past and present to show unique aspects of your personality. Your heritage will provide you the foundations for further outreach. According to Dr. Marc Edmund Jones, it is a degree of Accord, and shows "a gift for bringing people and events together in high appreciation of the greater values of life." Be alert for those who cliing too tightly to tradition, or who indulge in unhealthy self-absorbed behavior.

The first five days of June, Saturn challenges us to accept the power that can show us our leadership potential on whatever level we live. We have a "furious storm" about to rage through our "residential canyon" between June 14-22, which coincidentally is George Bush's Saturn. He has certainly shown us that he is the human equivalent of a furious storm. This of course completes his Saturn return, though I'm not sure he's fully grasped what is required from this point on, given his public intransigence on certain obsolete points of view and ways of dealing or not dealing with things. In any case, Saturn will be in his 12th house for some time to come, and will hit its forward station very close to his Ascendant and Pluto later this year, portending some serious things coming up for him. He is definitely not having that good a time, all PR to the contrary. I also maintain that since Saturn is the ruler of his 6th house of health, he's been having and continues to have some serious health problems that will plague him for some time to come. He'll definitely be reaping his rewards, for good or ill, this month which will impact future difficulties coming over the next year.

Uranus is at 11 Pisces all month, continuing the pattern active May through July of having our minds introduced to a transcendent Soul realm, which of course may frighten those who are not acquainted with the realm of Spirit and the on-going nature of personal and cosmic evolution. We will all be shown how we must "walk on," and will confront how ready, willing, and able we are on material, emotional, and psychological levels to move into a transcendent realm. Uranus is about to show us our true spiritual "lineage," and just how pure our motive is regarding how we express our spiritual truths. We will definitely all dedicate or re-dedicate ourselves to a higher purpose, ultimately to achieve a form of "high accomplishment in an effective alignment with ultimate reality." We will also see the downside of the degree in forms of "obvious hypocrisy," which of course does not bode well for our government.

Any time an outer planet goes stationary retrograde or direct, there are huge changes in our world, as well as our lives, showing us what is beyond our control, and how we must adapt to larger conditions. With both Jupiter and Uranus hitting their stations in a short period of time, expect major events in our world to dramatically break things apart, forcing hard adjustments due to both of these planets being in quincunx to each other. The fact that we have a close Mars square Pluto at Jupiter's station and a Sun opposition Pluto during Uranus' station adds fuel to the fire, and promises that things can get out of control fairly quickly, so pay attention to details, don't fumble the great truths you're glimpsing at this time, and utilize forms of self discipline and deep insights to choose a new direction in your life or new outlets for your energies. Huge changes are in the immediate future for all of us, which I'll touch on in future articles.
