Global Astrology Now in June-July-August-September 2005 - The Grand Irrationality Weirdness Continues
by Robert Wilkinson
Just back from a week on the road. Having talked with quite a few people. this seems like a good time to remind you that if you're having a hard time with making decisions, or even wondering why things are so strange and edgy, it would be good to cut yourself some slack by staying conscious that there is a Grand Irrationality going on. This weirdness waxes and wanes in strength as the Moon focuses or scatters the energy, but overall remember that this pressure is constant, and will be for years to come. I know it's not pleasant to think that this atmosphere will be with us for that long, but that doesn't matter. Things will never be the same for any of us. This article outlines much about the generic weirdness as we experienced it between January and April 2005, with links explaining even more about the irrationality and how to deal with it. I'll update the information about what degrees in what signs are most activated now and in the near future tomorrow, as this is an evolving pattern. The rest of this article offers perspectives on what's happening to all of us, things to watch out for, and how to deal with the strange days that are upon us.
I know of many who are feeling like they need to do something, but don't know what to do. For others, they question how things have gotten as strange (and bad) as they feel the larger situation truly is due to the collective delusion that an unending war is good for anything. Many people I know are having a hard time figuring out how to earn more, or even maintain what they have. Here adaptability is a virtue in an Age in transition. We live in a time where billions of dollars are being diverted away from the arts and things that uplift the human spirit, and instead funneled into the oil barons and nations, as well as the machines of war and destruction. Thus there is less money circulating among us than before, as most of it is going offshore to foreign lands and corporations that pay little or no tax. Even if this isn't going on in your nation, it's true for the U.S, and affects the economies of many other nations.
I believe that this challenges us to be creative in our thinking and how we position ourselves in the larger emerging economic long-term situation. This involves mastering our Gemini-Sagittarius energies, since this is the axis of energy in all of us that allows us to hold paradox while moving into ever larger and freer perspectives. Those who will do best economically in the next decade will be those who view themselves and their life from a holistic perspective, finding a larger global view. Stay alert for new growth possibilities disguised in strange ways or coming through peculiar circumstances, and don't overlook perfectly good opportunities because they don't resemble things we think or used to experience.
The Grand Irrationality is showing us a collective condition that will be with us for the next 12 years, forcing us to live our true Self's highest interests. Put another way, we are being shoved into our "dharma," a Sanskrit word approximately meaning "higher Destiny" or "ultimate Purpose." We are learning how to move with the changes, and not get too attached to feeling badly because things don't always make sense, or that we "don't know what to do." Do whatever your highest Self prompts you to do, since the changes are leading you toward a way of Being yourself that you've never experienced before. Basically, it's all an experiment in learning the art of cooperation, whether between the parts of our being or between our past, present, and future.
As Eternals having a human experience on the physical, emotional, and mental planes of existence, we are learning how to be and do in our four dimensional "reality." This of course involves learning how to deal with feelings. On subconscious levels we are totally connected to the collective unconscious, and therefore often will be feeling the bad or strange as well as the good or hopeful. The trick is to learn how to recognize what is ours, and what is of the collective. Then we can stay in the heart of our human experience while still positioning ourselves to maximum effectiveness within the strangeness that is the collective unconscious. Never underestimate the power of the collective to create a feeling for us that shows us how to separate from feeling badly about something that isn't our "fault."
For example, we know that the environment is degrading, and yet our government and industries continue to tell us "nyet problema." Our civil liberties and way of life as we've known it are vanishing, and we continue to be told it is in our best interests. This creates collective feelings, and the delusional seduction is affecting us all in various ways. If we're to do well within the collective strangeness, our job is to make sure we're responding as positively and productively as possible in the moment. And if there's nothing to do, then plant your garden, pull some weeds, take a walk and admire the miracle of life in a body with all the smells and sights and sounds, and remember that there's nothing so serious on this Earth that it warrants us being in a not-loving state. The pressure may feel uncomfortable, but as we learn how to maneuver within the changing condition affecting us all, we can find our unique purpose, and experience new ways of life, love, and effectiveness. Just keep opening, try not to clutch, and take a deep breath. The possibilities are greater than you feel.
