Global Astrology in late June 2005 - The Solstice Full Moon Influence on Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces

Now that we've navigated the recent storm zone (more here) successfully or not, we enter a fairly harmonious and productive period with very few afflictions and a lot of promise. Much should progress easily from this point forward, and we'll all feel a diminishing sense of edginess that has pervaded the past weeks. The Full Moon at 9:14 pm PDT June 21 (June 22 for EDT and points east) falling on the Solstice points indicates tremendous changes in the coming few weeks. The Sun is at 1 Cancer, a degree of decision and reorientation. The Moon is at 1 Capricorn, a degree of claiming our power and authority. Even with the forming Mars opposition Jupiter, the aspect span is too wide to be considered a Grand Cardinal Cross, and as such is very good news. The Full Moon encompasses the Mercury and Venus conjunction with Saturn in late Cancer, and sets up dynamics that will reveal their light, truth, and power when the Sun transits late Cancer the third week of July. A brief sketch on the Full Moon influence for each sign from the Summer Solstice through the first week of July:

Aries - You're on the edge of tremendous breakthroughs. All systems go! You're seeing the future, and have a whole new foundation for doing your thing.

Taurus - You're seeing something about values and resources that show you what to let go of, and what to regenerate. Get a long term plan, be disciplined in communications.

Gemini - Make a decision based on the truth of what you feel. Accept responsibility within a larger relationship context, and don't be too rule-bound.

Cancer - This is a turning point in what motivates you, as well as your work and/or health. Get organized, take the initiative, and close out old insecurities.

Leo - This is a shift in friends, group work, ambitions and ways of expressing yourself. You're reclaiming your authority to play and be creative. Enjoy!

Virgo - Unique qualities and shifts occur in home or profession or both. Make a decision about how to represent yourself, and which way you want to fulfill yourself.

Libra - New truths, new futures, new perspectives beckon. Get a broader view with greater sensitivity to collective needs, and accept responsibility in communications.

Scorpio - Losses and gains predominate. Make a decision to regenerate, or let go of something draining your energy. You have greater power regarding resources than you think.

Sagittarius - Be sensitive to new responsibilities and new ways of disciplining your desires and needs. You're going to make a big decision regarding relationships.

Capricorn - Health and work decisions which heavily affect your future predominate. You're ending an old relational cycle. Your partner needs to take command or accept power.

Aquarius - Be sensitive to new forms of play or self-expression, and let them lead you to new friendships and group involvements. Let a friend take charge.

Pisces - It's decision time regarding home, family, or some part of the past that has created uncertainty. You will find power in going public.
