The Astrology of Playing with Fire in July 2005 for Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces

During the upcoming week, we are blessed with so many powerful and positive aspects that they will turn even the Sun square Mars to good effect. There will be huge breakthroughs in October as a result of this square, and the energies are reorganizing things and people and events and relationships to bring forth a greater effectiveness. The on-going Grand Fire Trine involving Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto is given lots of oxygen to burn by Jupiter in Libra trine Neptune in Aquarius, so make no mistake - people and events are conspiring to bring together those that can work and play together in the future. That a rectangle is formed just makes it even better.

Fire consumes, transforms, and leaves ash to nourish the earth, which uses these nutrients of the burned-up past forms to create new life in the next growing season. This is a time to transform into more effective and inspired living. Due to the planets involved, it is affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces parts of our lives represented by the planets and houses these signs occupy in our charts.

As the Moon moves through Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Aries and Gemini in the near future the Fire will be activated to a greater degree in all our lives, and directly affect Cancer planets and houses in our charts. Leo, Capricorn, and Aquarius will begin to see long-term shifts as the Sun and Saturn enter Leo over the next 10 days, so everyone's invited to the party!

The Sun square Mars is helping us to turn the corner in how we express our vitality and energies, and gives us a way to anticipate what we must do when Mars squares Saturn from Taurus to Leo later this month. That square will be very difficult for some people, while for others it will bring surrender to a greater life. In any case it will release a "cosmic visitation," and will compel us to take a much larger point of view than before.

Some things will be subtracted of necessity, so remember that even a quarantine can serve a useful purpose if we know how to play. And a drought will end, even though some human works will be challenged. This is where attuning oneself to harmonize internally so we can become part of the corrective force of Nature Herself can assist us to navigate the outer quickened circumstances and not lose our cool, our direction, or our balance. Then the trick is to play at the art of life rather than take it so heavy. The fire will assist us to burn up all that is heavy. Aum Namah Shivaya!
