Professor Robert's Mojo Love Report for July-August-September 2005 For All Signs

This was an article I wrote for a magazine about two months ago, and since some of the information is still timely, I thought I'd reprint it here, now that the magazine has already gone to press. You may find that some of what I wrote for July mirrors your experience, and the information for August and September may prove helpful to understand what's going on with your specific Sun sign. That said, read on for your sign's "Professor Robert's Mojo Love Report."

This article outlines what each sign should be aware of in our relationships. As you know, some time periods are harder for certain signs than others, and these "storm zones" can be navigated successfully if we know which energies are needed for harmony. There are definitely times when meeting others is much more favored than at other times, and people we meet during favorable times usually have a beneficial effect in our lives. On the other hand it seems that some people are always having a hard time, regardless of whether the Sun is shining or there's a storm passing through! Then it is helpful to remember our inner harmony, always a useful antidote to negative attitudes and emotional "atmospheres" we encounter.

This is the time of the year when relationships naturally fulfill themselves, and we reap the fruits of how we have been with others. Libra is the sign that rules relationships and plays a major part in knowing how we are with others and what kind of lessons we have to learn through others. This phase which covers the signs Cancer, Leo, and Virgo is the quarter of the year where we fulfill old patterns, see the nobility and loyalty of our hearts, and close out old ways of doing our being with others.

Venus affects what we like and our affections. When Venus is afflicted by difficult planets, there will be more conflict in the world and in our lives. Even then, if during those times we demonstrate balance, charm, diplomacy, and reasonableness (Venusian virtues) we can demonstrate the highest level of interaction even when others are not. We have now experienced Venus in Cancer and Leo, and for the next two months it continues to move through Virgo, Libra, and part of Scorpio, which means the planet that rules relationships has moved through intense personal feelings into more playful expression, and now is going through many refinements to value a deeper way of relating to others.

During this time there will be periods where Venus will be oppressed or conflicted. We had to face facts and a maturing of relationships during the Mercury-Venus-Saturn conjunction in late June. We had to be impersonal, sensitive, caring and wise in our affections, and how we reacted set the dharma lessons and expression for Venus for the next year.

Though it opposed Neptune in July, creating some confusion between the ideal and the real, Venus in a Grand Fire Trine through that month should have proved very satisfactory for meeting new people who are more exciting and alive than those we've met before. It brought many people new inspirations, and was a very good time for scheduling marriages, especially when the Moon was in Air signs, as well as when the Moon was in Pisces or Taurus when Cancer or Capricorn was Ascending.

In late July and the first half of August Venus in Virgo has challenged us not to worry or be too critical, especially during the Venus opposition Uranus the last days of July. We've just gone through the square to Pluto August 7-13, which may have brought erratic or strange people and challenges us to be clear about who or what is obstructing us while playing to our unique gifts. It has shown many of us another side of people we thought we knew. Beware of edgy, weird, extreme, or coercive people, but if you're already dealing with someone like this, it's a great time to turn a corner and move into a better position.

In late August-early September Venus conjunct Jupiter in Libra is very auspicious for relational harmony, and many excellent marriages can be scheduled despite the ongoing Venus quincunx Mars which always brings forced adjustments. The harmonizing energies are Sagittarius and Pisces, so get a big view, show a sense of humor and compassion, and don't be fooled by deceptive subtleties that distract from the reality of what must be changed.

Venus will have the hardest time in Scorpio due to the squares to Saturn and Neptune. This will be most difficult in the middle and later part of September, and will challenge us to confront old non-productive "stuck" patterns. Stubbornness will be very high at that time, and along with the Venus opposition Mars in early October, foreshadows the Grand Fixed Cross prevailing in Nov-Dec 2005, a most difficult time for everyone. Even auspicious marriages scheduled then will have to endure some fairly difficult outer circumstances but there are always solutions if we are willing to look for them.

And now the Mojo Love Report forecast for each sign for these months. If your Sun or Ascendant is in:

Aries – Your partner will be more interesting than usual, and definitely more active, creative, playful, or adventurous. Since Venus rules your mate sign, you will be more sensitive to the changes mentioned above than other signs except for Scorpio. You’re going to have more energy than usual, but avoid stubbornness or anger beginning in August. You’re opening to a new ideal in relationships, so stay balanced and reasonable. Practice generosity as you increase your wealth and assets in August-September.

Taurus – You’ll have excellent new beginnings in July, but should avoid quarrels from late July on. Rethink how wisely you’re using energy, be more detached and friendly, and find time for rest to prepare for new relationship intensity beginning September. Make needed sacrifices without quarreling in late September. Your partnership sector blossoms after October, and big changes are in the air for a year.

Gemini – You should be coming to new higher understanding of how to be harmonious with others. Any changes in the next few months involve a higher karma showing you how to be fair, just, diplomatic and balanced. July should be very satisfactory in relationships. Don’t allow stubbornness or misunderstandings to undermine your interactions August-September. Make needed adjustments in late September and early October.

Cancer – Your mate is solidly with you, so find new ways of playing or being creative together beginning mid-July. You’ll find your partner is becoming more extroverted, less reflective and cautious. Gifts and unique qualities come forth early August, which should lead to increased harmony in the home late August through September. Your partner will need more confidence and clarity after October.

Leo – You’re seeing new possibilities in your adventures in partnership. It’s the end of an old uncertainty and the beginning of new self expression for your mate, who will have many new opportunities in the next few months. Expect interesting returns and insights late July-early August. Conflict is possible between past and future directions in late September-early October. Go for the future.

Virgo – Like Gemini, you’re coming to new higher understanding of harmony with others, along with karmic adjustments mentioned for that sign. Recent conflicts and agitation shows how to deal with the same energy in late August. Be noble, make needed adjustments and sacrifices, close out the old. September should bring awareness and heightened intuition as your partner finds a new form of self-expression.

Libra – July is very exciting for you in relationships, opening new ideas and ways to play. In August-September your partner may be working harder than before, and should embrace the changes enthusiastically. Your desires are changing, leading to long term stability. Conflict is possible in late September due to laziness or stubbornness in your partner. Something must change to prevent difficulty from October on.

Scorpio – July should be very satisfactory for you, and stabilizes your relationships. That’s good, since August and September will bring challenges that force you to slow down, adapt, and become more gracious. You’re going to be dealing with very powerful energies then, and things can get out of hand quickly if you don’t know how to give ground without getting aggravated.

Sagittarius – July and August should be fantastic for you in all relationships. Expect returns and interesting changes, and do not get caught up in your partner’s hassles in late August. September brings new developments, and you’ll see motives in others you didn’t suspect before then. Find balance in play and creativity, since your partner begins a new work tempo in October.

Capricorn – You’ll see a new side to your partner beginning mid-July, a welcome relief from the heaviness of the past two years. Be more creative and playful. Children will become more important in the next two years, as will your partner’s attitudes, limits, and fears regarding values and resources. Learn to appreciate each other’s standards, and avoid imbalances and confrontations in September.

Aquarius – Your relationships will shine brightly in July, while August will bring illumination or challenges, especially in the last half, due to misunderstandings or miscommunications. Expect important new relationship developments in August that show you what you must deal with for several months. You’ll see the value in others in September, but should avoid being too stubborn late that month.

Pisces – Your relationships should become more active and alive in July. Be alert to signals from your partner’s subconscious in late July and early August to avoid quarrels in late August, when important new developments occur. Your partner needs to be spontaneous and playful then. You will see their power, light, and higher truth in September. Avoid extremes in mid-August and mid-September.
