Mercury Now Tracking its Retrograde Points in August 2005 for Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Mercury is again direct in motion, and beginning to speed up. It is also transitting over its retrograde degree span for the third time through August 29, thus giving us opportunities to act wisely while taking into account the Mercurial information we've gotten since July 4. This would imply that for most of July and August we've been getting a Mercurial experience for the degree span between 9 and 21 Leo. This bridges the emotional-social-cultural and individual-mental levels of Combustion, as well as the actional and emotional-social-cultural levels of Release. What does it mean for your sign?

Well, it clearly indicates that we all have been dealing with aspects of drama, in ourselves and others. For some, lessons of speaking one's heart. For others, unleashing actions that will help to demonstrate the heart's desire or strength. No doubt given the stationary point of 21 Leo, the "intoxicated chickens," we've seen some pretty strange behaviors, or perhaps people justifying inadequacies instead of managing their energy expertly. Now direct on the point of seeing aspects of the Soul in moments of emotional intensity, we are once more retracing steps we've been on before. It's as though we started something in early July, got part way through it, then had to backtrack to where we are now, starting anew with more information, a new look at certain things and people, and a renewed sense of self expression.

For many, it has come through conflict, or is being experienced in a conflicted way, due to the on-going Mercury square Mars opposed Neptune, with Mars square Neptune through August 28. The active points require that we experience fellowship however it's being presented, show ourselves at the highest dignified level of human interaction rather than with an everyday attitude, and open to expressing a greater warmth of feeling.

Today it's moving off its stationary point to 10 Leo, a transfiguration point promising joy after a time of sorrow, triumph after a time of trials. By Sat-Sun we'll be embracing a greater connectedness in our ideas, Monday toward a greater sophistication, Tuesday into a retirement, and Wednesday into a greater authentic Soul expression beginning the integrating yet challenging T-square August 24-25-26, which is bound to be a volatile time.

As Mercury traverses its retrograde path, it has implications for all signs. Here's something for each sign for the next two weeks.

Aries - Your ideas, work, or health are now on track, Face your future while eliminating all negative attitudes and responses. Regenerate and find power.

Taurus - You now know the foundation of your wealth, the stability of your resources, and new self-expression.. Regenerate relationships, release possessiveness.

Gemini - You have a new idea, new information to express. Be creative, and try not to have a negative attitude about someone not in your camp.

Cancer - New motives, new ideas, new ways of expressing yourself are yours to play with. Try to be positive with children or other family member.

Leo - You have found a new voice, and know your Soul in different ways. Huge changes in the home and family are coming. Be warm and charming.

Virgo - Now that you see things differently, close out the old and welcome the new. Search for ways to be more creative in your work, or have more fun.

Libra - New information about friends and goals shows you how to be loving at the end of a cycle. Be creative in your vision, playful in expressing your truth.

Scorpio - You're about to be either the solution to the problem, or the problem itself. Be more detached, friendly, gentle, and kind. Change your thinking.

Sagittarius - You've already begun your new activity, and now you know more about your partner and what direction you're going. Quick action is good.

Capricorn - Now that you've rethought your relation to others, it's time to be more loving or creative in your work and view of truth. Change your goals.

Aquarius - You've experimented with new ways to play, and lost what you no longer needed. Be inventive at work, don't get bogged down in useless feelings.

Pisces - Take heart in your relationships and ways of regarding home and family. A trip in the future will help you regenerate and let go of ambivalence.
