Pick of the blogs I'm a little short on inspiration myself today, but allow me to direct you to a few other blogs you might find interesting.
Check out The Heretic's Corner. Karen, an Episcopalian priest, has just started a career as a hospital chaplain, and it sounds like it is a wonderful experience.
Maggi Dawn is always worth a read. I first came across her writings several years ago when she penned a response to Dave Tomlinson's book The Post-Evangelical. I was one of those "righteous boys" (albeit sans goatee) at the time, and I was livid that anyone would have the audacity to agree with Tomlinson's heretical ideas. Nowadays I'm an infidel like her, and I urge you to go indulge your inner heretic by reading her blog.
Speaking of "righteous boys", when I saw the goatee on Adam at PoMoMusings, naturally I feared the worst. My fears were allayed, however: The guy has some good stuff to say. I have no idea what PoMo means, but the musings seem fine to me.
I happened upon a few other blogs this week, too. Peregrinatio has a few thoughts worth reading. Don't ask what NousLife means, but check it out anyway. Storytelling World sounds like something my nephews would watch, but in actual fact it's the blog of a vicar in Oxford. Oh, and another Oxford vicar-in-waiting is Dave Wheatley, whose "amateur finking from an aspiring professional finker" you can read at Finking out Loud.
And don't forget to drop in and give Tim Samoff a few hugs. He's recovering from a heart-attack. I'll always remember Tim, because he was, I think, the first person to welcome me officially into the blogging world.
Dave
