What a great evening last night welcoming the Memorial.  To all of you that helped with the escort – thank you!    Be sure to keep an eye on Sanders Park today.  There are two ways to do that, either by going to the park and watching the panels being placed or by going to the web cam.    Be sure to attend the Opening Ceremony.  You can view the Ceremony agenda on this BLOG by going to May 22 or by “clicking” on the schedule button on the home page.  The Ceremony starts at 5:00 p.m.  BYOC -- Bring your own chair.   Finish out your day by participating in the Torch Light Walk.  Walkers will need to bring a flashlight and meet at the Southeast corner of Pioneer Square.  Your flashlight will be used in place of a candle.  With “torches” shining -- walkers will be led by Beau Byrd to the Memorial.  Please plan to attend.  7:28:15 AM    comment []
