Major mommy day today, at a group play date for Dido's best friend's class at preschool. We were invited as the token non-school friend, and Dido did remarkably well witha passel of new kids. He amazes me with his ease, sometimes. He is so much mellower than either of us--I hope growing up won't beat that out of him. Exhausted by the end, he helped Chris plant her garden and then laughed uproariously at his friends' bad table manners as they all chowed down on turkey dogs and frozen corn.
