This Week, at the Park SideNo time, no energy to write. Suffice it to say the highlights of the week were Bob Barker, live and in person, Bloomsday (no, I've never read Ulysses, and now I feel inadequate about it,) and a birthday party--for my favorite witch. And the capper today was a powerful (at least at the time) revelation about the nature of America as a nation perennially divided--this provoked by eavesdropping on foreign tourists discussing "The Americans" (that's us) at the Farmer's Market. More on that tomorrow, or whenever I find half an hour to sit, uninterrupted, at the computer. 9:33:24 PM |
