Oh Frabjous DayFirst, I am the only person awake in my house and it is AFTER 7:30 A.M. The use of unnecessary and irritating capitalization should be interpreted to suggest the rarity of this occurrence. Second, I thought the debate last night was great. Both men passionately expressed their ideas. John Kerry has more of them. Bush's are a little...simple. And thank goodness he's thought long and hard about his own errors in judgment.. It's that kind of critical self-examination that makes a great and just leader...oh. Never mind. Third, and speaking of the Great Leader....What's up with this controversy about him being fed lines in the first debate? Because if that's the best he can do when he's lipsyncing, he deserves to be in Milli Vanilli, not the White House. Oh. Right. That is what he deserves. Anyway, you can read more about it here, and while you're at it, check out Edwards' Senate record, also thoughtfully posted by the lovely and informed Mieke.
And one more thing--if you don't read Dan Froomkin, you should. He rocks. Be sure to read this posting, which ruminates, scarily, on what Bush REALLY means when he uses the seemingly-innocuous phrase, "Of course." |
