By way of explanation... If you look at the sidebar to the right, you'll notice something new, a link to a site called Judy's Book, a local online directory started by a close friend of mine's brother. The site's still (at least partially, or maybe only in Los Angeles) in beta, but I like its interfaces and in particular its conception as a community resource--members can ask questions (i.e., can you recommend a good art class for kids?) and members can respond, provide reviews of local resources and business, etc. They got a nice write up in the New York Times today, so check it out. I've been meaning to add more reviews, so watch my sidebar for them to appear, and consider joining (free) and adding your own. 8:56:31 PM     comment [] trackback []
