Help the Victims of Hurricane Katrina Please consider making a donation to help the millions --MILLIONS-- of people affected by the devastation on the Gulf Coast this week. That we were unprepared for this type of catastrophe is negligence; that we have not responded adequately to the thousands of desperate, trapped survivors is a moral crime of almost unbearable evil. George Bush's speech to the nation shows us once again that he has no understanding, none, of true Christianity, nor humanity. I am SICKENED by the fact that the supposedly most advanced society on earth (well, maybe not, now that "Intelligent Design" is legitimate curriculum, but that's another tirade) cannot care for its poor, its sick, its CHILDREN, for God's sake, during a natural disaster. 10:35:28 PM     comment [] trackback []
