I'm here, I'm here

It turns out that the "cold" I've been martyring through for the last 9 days (but who's counting) is, in fact, a sinus infection.  I blame the short people.  (You know, the ones I live with.)  Instead of taking my pathetic self to the doctor this week, I took them.  They had suspicious green goo leaking out of their noses, it's true, but they were in good enough spirits that the Babe stuck to her sleep schedule and Dido went to school.  After waiting nearly an hour to see the pediatrician, I was informed that they seemed to have colds. Really?  Just culture them anyway, I suggested.

When I got the diagnosis from their doc today, I called mine.  "Don't they tell you," he said quietly, "to put your own mask on first when you fly?"  "The pediatrician's office is closer than yours." Fair enough.  He gave me my meds. I'm sure that the miracle of Zpak will have me blogging like a lunatic this weekend.  Consider yourselves warned.
