old school don marquis style its hard to blog about a baby when said baby is asleep on your forearm diaper clad butt cradled in your hand im trying to do this onehanded me and archy the cockroach - he was oneheaded tho shiftings too tricky so forget it one extra wasted keystroke thats one thing you learn as a parent conservation of movement do as much as possible all at once or else do only what is absolutely necessary thats why so many parents skip meals stop smoking start drinking coffee black for first time conservation of movement (i cut and pasted that phrase - cheating ha ha) hes hot like a radiator sweat is pouring off me its cool outside and im barefoot but hes glowing with body heat a bundle of energy at rest he sleeps noisy his nose whistles ha-ffffffff is how his little snores sound a little breath and a little papery whistle thru his nose ha-a-ffffff ha-a-ffffff ha-a-ffffff ha-a-ffffff and then a deep sigh and back to sleep and yes i do it we all do it admit it you did too every ten mins my hand on his chest checking for the rise and fall just making sure just making sure hes gained so much weight hes near 10 lbs now moms overjoyed his suits are starting to fit too snug on him its a little miracle to see him put on weight those first days where we would have done anything for him to be eating and now he eats like a horse so far from those terrifying first days and yet he still fits in the crook of my arm his head tucked inside my elbow ha-a-ffffff ha-a-ffffff 8:21:05 PM     Speak up!  []
