I got a new comment on a post from back in November, and after reading through the whole mess again, I decided to port the entire discussion over to this new blog in the form of permanent stories.

I say stories, plural, because evidently Radio has some kind of limit on the amount of text it allows in a story, and if you post material that goes over the limit, you can't edit the resulting page. Internet Explorer (which I don't use because I couldn't get the WYSIWYG editor to work, only HTML) cuts it off and Netscape gives you bupkiss -- a blank box -- on the editing page. What a pain. I've been fiddling with this problem off and on for for a while (one of the reasons none of the old stories have made it over here yet) and today I finally realized (head slap!) that the story would have to be broken up.

Aggravating, but at least I know what to do now.
