Tuesday, November 02, 2004 Murder of Filmmaker who Unveiled Islamic Domestic Violence   Murder today in Amsterdam of a Dutch filmmaker who had criticized the treatment of women under Islam. Theo van Gogh (related to the artist) had been under death threat for his 10-minute film called "Submission." Its salient image was of a woman wearing a transparent chador under which her stomach and chest could be seen with Koranic script written across them describing physical punishments for "disobedient women."
