Cervs Them Right Ellen Goodman on right wing opposition to vaccinating kids against the virus that causes deadly cervical cancer. What?? Well, the virus happens to be sexually transmitted. No Advice and Consent The FDA didn't reject its advisory committee's recommendation to approve Plan B for over-the-counter sale. Top FDA officials had already decided to nix emergency contraception before hearing from the scientific group. Science was moot. That's the conclusion of an investigation by the non-partisan Congressional Government Accountability Office. A kind of surprise finding from such an Orwellian named body.
