The Colbert and Thomas Show        Stephen Colbert plus Helen Thomas. What a combo. This was the devastating send-up at the White House Correspondents dinner last night that left the audience in very nervous laughter and BushCo. unsmiling. Crooks&Liars has the video. (Cs&Ls is great -- you can count on this blog to have the goods) Check it out. Thomas is really fabulous as a truth stalker in Colbert's press secretary "audition tape" at the end. Invisible Woman Story of the week over there in the lefthand column has actually been more like story of the month or months to be honest about it. But I have a truly new one this week by my longtime friend journalist Anne Swardson.
