I remember my older sister, a treasure trove of information...knowingly, and unknowingly, had a book called "The Pearl". I loved snooping around in her room when she was out - it smelled of incense, and had Jimi Hendrix and Rolling Stone posters and beaded curtains. She had the best funky clothes, platform shoes and earrings! She would go out to discotheques in wild clothes and come back in the wee hours of the morning, with my parents waiting angrily for her. She was truly fearless in my eyes. A rebel.
Oh yes, "The Pearl". I used to sneak that book out of her room, and read bits of it to my girlfriends over the phone and we'd giggle. I remember asking my sister what sex was like. Her answer. "You have to experience it yourself. No one can really tell you how it truly feels." - gams
