Dear George,
I appreciate how busy you are as you bring freedom and free enterprise to Iraq. And I’m sure the bold economic policies that are bringing prosperity to the masses are time consuming. Therefore, it is my duty, as your loyal citizen, to point out areas where things might have softened up a little bit. And I have found one that needs some tinkering.
George, the public is getting too complacent about law and order. The declining crime rate and the large number of innocent people being discovered on death row have moved law and order to the back burner. This is a dangerous situation that could have some serious political consequences if not corrected! We all know that the greatest threat to the country’s ruling oligarchy would be an alliance between the white working poor and the black working poor of this country. This could result in all sorts of “reform” mischief.
“Law and order” is the wedge that drives these two demographics apart. Your father hit the jackpot with Willie Horton. He knew that a frightened electorate is an electorate that will vote against their own interests every time. For the welfare of the country it is imperative that the media resumes its coverage of black crime. We need daily perp walks, black perp walks, grinning black perp walks. We need the stats cooked to show a sudden spike in the crime rate. We need white victims—preferable young and female. George, make the white working poor fearful of their black brethren and they will jump in your back pocket in their frantic quest for security.
This would be a good project for Ashcroft. He seems to have time on his hands. He could introduce a strong Christian theme to the project. (Rid the streets of Satan’s dark minions and make them safe for Jesus).
Hell, federalize the Rockefeller Drug Laws. Build more prisons.
And here’s your chance to become an economic hero. Promise every town that’s lost a plant to Mexico their own prison. Call it your “Prison for Plants” program. The promise of jobs for the jobless will widen the wedge you’ve driven between whites and blacks. The subtext of your message would be that if you don’t jail ‘em they’ll take your prison job and rape your sister. It works every time.
George, worry not! I have your back.
