Dear George,

I wanted to pass along a few words of encouragement as your world continues to crumble about you.  No matter how wrong you are, you are always in the right, for we are a moral nation led by moral leaders whose Christian humility has made us the world’s sole superpower.  This humility drives progress as it transforms the face and fabric of the world.

As a nation that values value, we no longer rely on genocide as a vehicle of colonial expansion.  However, in our wisdom, we have preserved the hubris that once drove it.  Shantytown slums have replaced bombs and bayonets as the great civilizer.  As always, one man’s crime is another’s manifest destiny.

The key to empire is to print our foreign policy on thick paper for it is the shroud that covers the broken bodies of its beneficiaries, and it wouldn’t do to have their blood soak through.

Always remember that nobility of purpose leeches the evil out of sin.

Have faith, and stay the course.

Your admirer,

Belacqua Jones
