Dear George,
Accusations that our foreign policy is racist are absurd. Ours is not a race-based policy; it is a culture-based policy. It recognizes that there is a hierarchy of cultures from the primitive to the advanced. Our goal, in the face of this reality, is the protection and nurturing of the advanced cultures with the aid and compliance of the primitive cultures. You summed this up best when you said it was better to fight the terrorists in Iraq than over here. It makes sense to sacrifice the women and children of Iraq so we may protect the women and children of America.
This reflects a natural law that favors the advanced over the primitive. This is why we have a moral obligation to lift the primitive cultures out of their dark ignorance and bring them into the fluorescent barrenness of modernity, whether or not they want to come along for the ride. And, the quid pro quo for our effort is that we get their resources. The Washington Consensus has replaced colonialism even though the goals of both are the same: the plundering of a primitive society.
Some would say calling the Washington Consensus a force for world prosperity is like calling Jack the Ripper a feminist. But, that is nothing more than progressive sour grapes. You are doing good work, George as you bring God and capitalism to the natives.
Your admirer,
Belacqua Jones
