Dear George,

Red-Meat Rudy is a tooth gnashing man who brooks neither criticism nor disagreement.  He is a man of the highest principle, the principle being that thuggery reigns supreme over critical perception and clarity of vision.  He captured America’s heart during the May 15th GOP debate when he demanded that Rep. Ron Paul apologize for daring to suggest, “We were attacked because of our excess of engagement with the rest of the world.” [1]

Red-Meat knows that the universal tune all America is expected to dance to is that they attacked us because they hate our freedoms as manifested in the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and our transformation of the Geneva Conventions into a quaint artifact.  America has zero tolerance for deviant thinking.

Paul’s independence of thought goes beyond an unwillingness to fit in (all freedom is a neurosis that cries out for medication as surely as depression does); it constitutes a threat to America’s economic health.

What Paul failed to grasp in his inappropriate display of levelheaded comprehension is that our Corporatists have gutted America’s manufacturing base until only our weapons industry is left.  This is why we need men like Red-Meat who can start a fight with an empty room.  His is a video game mentality that resonates with a generation of couch potatoes conditioned to see violence as the most efficient solution to every problem, no matter how complex or nuanced it is.

When a country’s industrial base is grounded in a pathological obsession with violence, conflict becomes addictive.  The economic health of America demands a leader whose thuggery can inspire a lynch-mob psychology in the public thus making them willing to dump their tax dollars down a military rat hole just so they can enjoy the vicarious thrill of sending someone else out to kill and be killed.

Red-Meat knows how to work the scam.  As a nuclearized security state, America needs a leader who is a born again bully.   Red-Meat has answered the military-industrial complex’s altar call and is ready to lead America down into the Valley of Death.

Your admirer,

Belacqua Jones.
