A bit of old railway is up for sale. The strip of land - valued at about £10,000 - used to form part of the direct route for trains from Brighton to Hastings. It seems strange that they should have sold it off when it could still provide a useful service, particularly for freight trains coming out of the Channel Tunnel. Perhaps an investor should buy it, just in case there's a market.
