CHANGE

Fewer rants...More Questions!

When the mood hits me, I'll get back into my more lengthy discourses but...with the relaxation of the past Holiday period, I'm feeling a little more mellow (though no less committed and angry about the state of our country), so I've decided that every day or so, I'll pose a question or two about anomolies I find in the world in general and politics in particular.  They will be there simply for you to think about.

TODAY'S QUESTION:

Are we paying any attention to "internal terrorist groups" who aren't Muslem?

Remember Oklahoma City? Pre-9/11 the most deadly attack on the US using terrorism in the last 50 years came from within.  Ah yes, remember Terry Nichols and Tim McVey and their ilk; the white power, Christian conservative, homegrown military militia, black helicopter, new world order fearing , ATF agents invading homes to take away our BB guns, let's start up a survivalist's compound in Idaho good old boys.  I'm also not leaving our specific groups like the Klan, the American Nazi Party and the even more dangerous underground groups that exist.  Morris Dees and his Southern Poverty Law Center do an execllent job trying to keep track of these innumerable groups BUT...Is the US government through John Ashcroft's  Department of Justice following  these internal "white power" terrorist groups with the same fervor they showed after the Oklahoma City Bombing?
