Oops... Doing Site Updates
Reformatting first year... trying to avoid mistakes!
I'm spending this week updating most of the first year's pages of my weblog... which basically means editing out all the "Diary of a Dodger... Photoblog" titles page by page and making active links within the text to point to where I've written further articles on the subject. However, I sometimes make an error in the workflow resulting in an edited entry from, say, November 2004 duplicated as a "new" entry for today 2006 (as happened)... and it might take a few hours to spot such an error before I correct it!
Updating the site also means that visitors from Google keyword searches who land on one of those first year's pages will now see a complete index of all my articles and reviews... something which was omitted originally.
As I always upload a photograph to head my pages, and to talk about, I'm reusing one of my favourites... of Shuna. It was one of several images I deleted last week for no good reason (it was for a bad reason when I think about it)... and I have no better excuse for showing it again other than I think it's an interesting image... Leica M4/P, 35mm Summicron, printed on Agfa Record Rapid and "split toned" in Kodak Rapid Selenium solution to achieve the chocolate-coloured deep shadows. On the screen this will barely be discernable... but on the print...it has a three-dimensional effect.
Oh yes, the "smart" Amazon.co.uk banner below should analyse the page content and suggest relevant purchases. .. although I can't imagine what they'll come up with here! If you do click and buy from any page I thank you.
