A quick snap...
...with an Olympus E-1
Too occupied with other work to finish an article today... but here's a photo of me relaxing between being busy.
Actually, I shot something like 140 images of "landscapes with trees" today at three different locations - but didn't get the one detail shot I needed to reinforce the main theme. I was in magazine editorial shooting mode... trying to provide a complete coverage of an idea... but I missed the opportunity to capture the detail when I saw it, thinking I could take it later at another better location. C'est la vie!
For the photographically minded (or remotely interested) the shot was taken on an Olympus E-1 with the zoom lens set to 18mm (36mm equivalent on a 35mm film SLR), exposure 1/500th at f/8 at ISO 100... on a very bright, clear, hot morning. One thing I do like about the Olympus E-1 camera and software are the colours produced... very lifelike and natural. Oh yes, and the camera is very quiet compared to Nikon and Canon DSLRs, which adds to the user's pleasure.
