HILLARY HATERS ARE IN FOR THE FIGHT OF THEIR LIVES

Everywhere I turn I hear a compliment of both sexes insist to me that Hillary Clinton can not win in the general election. Their basic rationale for that conclusion is that she has too many negatives against her; usually in the range of 35-38 percent of the American electorate do not like her.
And you know, those who make that comment are exactly correct. 35-38 percent of the American people would not vote for her if she walked on water and turned water into wine.
That is because those that comprise the 35-38 percent who are Hillary Haters are right-wing Republicans who would not vote for any Democrat in spite of the miserable record of the present Republican administration, in spite of the total failure of the war in Iraq, in spite of the massive deficit Mr. Bush will leave on the portico of the White House for the incoming president, and in spite of all the corruption that both the president, the vice president and the Republican controlled-Congress and their fellow travelers committed while in office over the past eight years.
I am not preoccupied with those who are against Hillary, the Democrats ought to be more preoccupied with those who are for Hillary or could be for Hillary--that is where they should invest their time and their money. We need to go after the moderate Republicans who are sick of the control the right-wing, the Christian Right, the neo-conservatives have taken of the Party apparatus.
All the same, right-wing Republicans are already out in full force writing books that call Hillary everything from a whore, to a lesbian and a beaten down housewife who lost all her self-esteem to a two-timing husband who lorded over her like King Kong over Fay Ray.
There are others who simply cannot accept a woman in the White House. And I am speaking here primarily of women with low self-esteem and apprehensive males who are threatened by her presence, her confidence, her education and her ability to speak before crowds of thousands of people at ease and with good humor.
The names of the past Clinton Haters will surely rise to the surface. Richard Mellon Scaife who funded the treasonous attempt to drive President Clinton from office on the basis of lies, innuendos, bribery, forgery and every conceivable manipulation of the media of which one can dream.
Dick Morris, the former consultant to Bill Clinton who is one of the most two-faced, repugnant, expedient men I have ever seen in public. He goes where the money is and says what they money tells him to say. He is a man of many faces and all of them spell trouble.
Of course, there are our subversive friends, the Swift Boat Vets for Truth who conjured up that whole bill of fare of lies about John Kerry in the 2004 campaign that the more gullible of our number swallowed with the readiness of catfish lurching for a worm. They were all Bush (I served my national guard time in Alabama campaigning for one of my father’s friends.) buddies who raised a few million dollars and tore the medals off John Kerry uniform in the name of dirty, filthy Republican politics.
Arthur Finkelstein, head of Arthur J. Finkelstein & Associates, a political consultant embarked on a “Stop Her Now” campaign in 2005 attempting to keep her from winning reelection to the U. S. Senate seat from New York. He failed then even as he will fail in 2008. He is active again and will throw as much dirt as he can acquire in an email, a fax or a website blast to every right-leaning Independent, wavering Democrat and ultra-conservative Republican whose name he can buy.
This time around, an old dirty-tricks Republican, Richard Collins of Richard Collins Enterprises and a supporter of Rudy Giuliani, has opened up “Stop Her Now—Rescuing America from the radical ideas of Hillary Clinton” which is developing a movie about Senator Clinton that will be packed with as many fabrications, cock and bull stories, falsehoods and deceptions as a cowboy can stuff into a ten-gallon hat made of cow dung.
Floyd Brown, an infamous Republican conservative who employs guerilla tactics to fire at his political enemies while remaining hidden in the bushes like the coward that he is. He also founded Citizens United in 1998 and is best known for the Willie Horton ad which successfully derailed the Governor Michael Dukakis campaign for president in 1988.
You may recall that the television ad centered on a convicted felon, Willie Horton, who was serving a life sentence for murder without the possibility of parole. While Governor Dukakis did not initiate the Massachusetts program (A Republican Governor, Francis W. Sergeant kicked off the legislation in 1972) he did feel that there was value in the furlough as part of a prisoner’s rehabilitation. The Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled that the program should be extended to those who had been convicted of first-degree murder, and thus was in effect during the administration of Edward J. King, but was abolished during Dukakis’ final term.
While nearly every Governor in the country had used the furlough program, the Lee Atwater, Floyd Brown ad targeted Mike Dukakis and fired it at him over and over again on the highly rate network television shows.
Another traitor to the cause of truth in advertising is David Bossie who has taken over the reigns of Brown’s Citizens United. Bossie was chief investigator of Sen. Lauch Faircloth’s falsified charges in the Whitewater hearings conducted by Faircloth and his fellow North Carolinian, the senile old man from North Carolina, Jesse Helms.
It was Faircloth and Helms who met with the three judges on the U. S. Court of Appeals in Washington, two of them right wingers and two of them appointed by Republican presidents. The Court of Appeals are responsible for appointing Federal Prosecutors.
The two Senators both of whom were notorious racists, Clinton Haters and with minds and souls buried deeply in the 19th century, convinced their two Republican judges to fire the first Federal Prosecutor, Robert Fisk, a Republican who found untoward about the Whitewater transaction. Faircloth, Helms and a group of Clinton Haters funded by Richard Mellon Scaife, wanted a more conservative Prosecutor who would be more aggressive in pursuing Clinton. Thus, Kenneth Starr, a ultra-conservative, fundamentalist was appointed by the judges. In return, the wife of one of the judges was given a job on Faircloth’s Senate staff.
With millions of dollars behind them from the far-right, again primarily provided by Richard Mellon Scaiffe, heir to the Mellon bank fortune, along with the neo-cons who congregated every Wednesday at a club in downtown Washington to plot the overthrow of Bill Clinton, their fabricated and contemptible charges became the basis for the infamous Ken Starr investigation into the Whitewater.
It started with an article in a right-wing, Scaiffe funded magazine, American Spectator based on lies and fabrications provided by the Republican leader in Little Rock, Arkansas, David Hale.
It was only when David Brock, author of Blinded by the Right and the author of the article in Weekly Standard that ignited the right-wing’s war against Clinton, admitted that all of the accusations against both Clintons were total frauds, lies, given birth by the Mellon Scaiffe’s of this world and nurtured by the many minions he paid off with bribes, grants from his many foundations and ideological clones that the entire world, with the exception of Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and few thousand of their mentally deficient friends, realized that the whole Whitewater episode was simply a ploy by the Republican Right to stop many of the programs Clinton intended to bring into being during his administration. Never in American history have so few, hated so much that they were willing to destroy the entire democratic process on behalf of their own selfish, narrow-minded and exclusive dogma, to oust a duly elected president from the presidency.
Others who are warming up for the 2008 army of militant Clinton Haters include David Bossie now president of Citizens United, Brent Bozell of the right-wing Media Research Centre and Paul Kengor who is apparently looking into Hillary’s real religious beliefs. Bay Buchanan, sister to the likeable, but sincerely wrong Pat Buchanan, Tom Winter, editor-in-chief of Human Events magazine and the entire cast of those who have been slinging mud and telling lies against the Democratic candidates for president over the past 20 years.
Look for the Watergate burglar, G. Gordon Liddy, the star of the Iran Contra thriller, Oliver North, the Fox News Boys, Brit Hume, Fred Barnes, Mort Kondreke and Sean Hannity, conservative radio’s Laura Ingraham, talk radio host Bill Bennett, People of the American Way, The American Legislative Exchange Council, Phyllis Schlafaly of Eagle Forum, Don Wilmon of the American Family Association, Tony Perkins, Rick Scarborough, Judge Roy Moore from the Foundation for Moral Law, Janet Folger of Faith2Action, Mat Stayer, Chairman of Liberty Counsel, Star Parker, President of the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education, Bobby Schindler, Terri’s Fight and Paul Weyrich, president of the Free Congress Foundation.
This is only a partial list of those who can be counted among the Hillary Haters. Be on the look out. They lie, deceive and manipulate the truth, the facts, and their Republican positions on key issues just to win votes.
I often think that it is too bad, we cannot have a second party in this country that stands for the right, the just, and Christian values of love, acceptance and forgiveness that are the hallmark of the true believers.
The Republican Right has given us nothing but scandals and lies for decades.
Richard Nixon was the author of the infamous Watergate Scandal that illegally burgled the Offices of the Democratic National Committee and ultimately forced the resignation of Richard M. Nixon.
Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush gave us the Iran-Contra Scandal that sold arms to Iran (a present member of Bush’s “evil empire” and, in turn, sent the money to Nicaragua’s FSLN (Frente Sandinista de Liberacion Nactional) against the law of the United States government with the knowledge and consent not only Oliver North, but allegedly, according to the accounts to two former Reagan cabinet members with the knowledge of President Ronald Reagan and Vice President George H. W. Bush.
And, of course, George W. Bush has given us so many scandals over the past six and a half years that I would be ashamed to tell anyone that I was a Republican.

S. Air Force pled guilty and sentenced to nine months in prison for her part in the Boeing tanker lease scandal; John Korsmo, chairman, Federal Housing Finance Board, pled guilty for lying to the Senate and an inspector general about how a list of the presidents of FHFB-regulated banks were invited to a fundraiser for a congressional campaign; P. But there is no shame for these people. They will now aim their barbed comments are Hillary Clinton in hopes of stopping her from being the first woman to sit in the presidential chair of the Oval Office.
This will not be another Whitewater. This lady will fight back like the champion that she is and she will kick the Swift Boat Veterans or any of the other right-wing kooks in the groin if they attempt to spread lies about her as they did about John Kerry in 2004.
