HILLARY RELUCTANTLY BOWS OUT OF THE RACE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT

AFTER HER DREADFUL

FAILURE TO CONCEDE, OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE, ON TUESDAY NIGHT SHE FINALLY CAME TO THE POINT WHERE SHE COULD CONGRATULATE OBAMA ON HIS VICTORY.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE SO SUPPORTIVE OF HILLARY, I MUST SAY THAT FOR A WOMAN WHO COMES FROM A VERY CLASSY HERITAGE SHE DISPLAYED EVERYTHING BUT GRACIOUSNESS.

I WAS SO ANGRY WITH HER THAT I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS. I WAS AN EARLY SUPPORTER OF HILLARY, BUT AFTER SHE TURNED MEAN AGAINST OBAMA AND BITTER AGAINST THE PRESS THAT SHE PROBABLY STILL INSISTS FORCED HER TO SWALLOW A MAJOR DOSE OF SEXISM, I COULD NO LONGER GIVE HER MY MONEY OR MY SUPPORT.

But today, Saturday, June 7, 2008 she performed splendidly and to some extent healed the bruises her Tuesday speech left on the memory of Obama’s supporters.

She started out on the same “I” pattern she began on Tuesday, but giving us a litany of the issues she promoted during the campaign. She reminded us of the four decades (it used to be 35 years) of public service she has devoted to these issues and the many causes she has embraced during her public career.

6:30 minutes into her address, she finally mentioned the name Barack Obama and when on from there to lend her full-hearted endorsement of Obama and commit to do everything she could do to ensure that he becomes the forty-fourth (44) President of the United States.

She strongly urged her followers to get behind Obama with the same enthusiasm and dedication that had invested in her campaign. Using exceptionally impressive rhetoric she pointed out clearly that Obama was seeking the same goals that she has pursued and that if her supporters wanted to see the country achieve those goals they had to work hard and long for the election of Barack Obama.

While she did not address this issue directly, the underlying message was there.  There is no way that people who were dedicated to her campaign and causes she espouses can now turn their backs on Obama and vote for McCain who stands for the opposite of everything she and Obama embrace.

Hillary did a magnificent job of dealing with the issue of race and suggested that those who voted against Obama because he is black should rethink their rational and realize that her agenda and Obama’s agenda are identical and they should support him despite of his race but because of the benefits they will enjoy if they support to make him the next President of the United States  They should vote for the good things his administration will do for them and not against the color of his skin which in no way will deter him from getting the things done that both of them seek to accomplish for this country.

Hillary did not mention this, but some of these people forget is that Obama’s mother was a white woman from Kansas.

Racists must stop voting against their own self-interests.

I thought she did the job she needed to do and I congratulate her on a superlative speech delivered in a style of sincerity and honesty.
